Chapter 3

(Y/N) Point of View

You, Yugi, and Joey followed Tea into the school. You looked down seeing people stare at you with surprised and or confused faces. Joey slowed down to walk beside you and wrapped his arm around your shoulder, "Don't worry (Y/N), we just haven't had any new students in a while," He said smiling. You nodded still keeping your gaze on the floor looking up from time to time. As you walked by people you heard some mumbling under there breath about you, but, you couldn't really understand them. Tea and Yugi stopped and looked at you and Joey. "Hey Joey, how about I take (Y/N) to the office so she can get her papers," Yugi said looking at him. Joey shrugged and took his arm off your shoulders, "Sure yug', come on Tea," He said starting to walk down the busy hall. "Hey wait up!" Tea yelled and ran after him.

You looked down at Yugi seeing him already staring at you. He seemed like he was stuck in deep thought. You waved your hand in front of his face, "Yugi?" He snapped out of it and blushed, "s-sorry (Y/N)..." You smiled and shook your head, "It's ok Yugi, I do that a lot to." He smiled and nodded, "Come on, I'll show you where the office is." You nodded and followed him down the hall which wasn't as crowded anymore. The bell rang and the student's that were still in the halls ran to there classes. You cringed slightly at the bell, loud sounds like that hurt your ears. Yugi stopped in front of a door and opened it. You looked inside to see secretaries typing at computers and talking on the phone. You followed Yugi inside and walked up to the front desk. A lady looked at Yugi smiling, "Hello Mr. Moto." He smiled, "Hello." The lady looked at you slightly confused but smiled. "Who's this?" she asked.

"This is (Y/N), she's new so I was going to show her where everything is," He said looking at you smiling. You smiled back and you heard the lady giggle and you looked at her. "Well it's very nice to meet you (Y/N)," She smiled at you and held her hand out to you. You shook her hand, "Its very nice to meet you too." "What's your last name dear?" She asked typing at her computer. "It's (L/N)..." You say quietly. She smiled, "Found ya, I'll get your papers for you." She stood up and went to a room on the other side of the office. You sighed quietly causing Yugi to look up at you. "You ok?" He asked. You smiled and nodded then went to say something but the lady came back and put three papers in front of you on the desk. "Here you go dear, I made a few changes to your schedule if you don't mind." "Not at all," You said picking up the papers and looking at them. She looked at Yugi, "Now take care of her Yugi and make sure that she finds everything ok." Yugi smiled and nodded, "Of course!" "Now run along and get to class," The both of you nodded and walked out of the room.

Yugi's Point of View

Me and (Y/N) walked out of the office and I heard (Y/N) sigh. I looked at her and saw that she was staring down the hall behind me. I turned around and looked but there was nothing there. "Hmm..." (Y/N) started and I looked at her. I could tell she was thinking she would glance to the side every so often. 'Could she ((he))  really have a spirit dwelling within her?' I thought to myself and then saw Yami appear beside me. I looked at him to see he was staring at something. I followed his gase to see he was staring to the right of (Y/N). 'I see her ((him)) Yugi,' Yami said through the mind link. 'Who?' 'The spirit that dwells within (Y/N).' My eyes widened slightly hearing that. I looked up at (Y/N) who was already staring at me. "We....better get to class..." I said breaking the silence between us. She ((He)) only nodded still staring at me. "Can I see your papers please?" She ((He)) nodded and handed me her ((his)) papers. I looked over them and saw that we had every class together. That's good, I guess. I looked up at her ((him)) to see she ((he)) was staring off into space again. I smiled and tapped her ((his)) shoulder, making her ((his)) to snap towards me. She ((He)) was glaring at me at first but her ((his)) eyes softened. "Looks like we have all the same classes together," I smiled but all she ((he)) did was nod. "Come on then, we are late after all," I said and turned around and started walking down the hall. I heard soft footsteps behind me then none at all. I looked behind me and saw she was still following me but I couldn't hear her.

'She's an intriguing one Yugi, my I speak to her?' Yami asked in the mind link. 'After school Pharaoh,' I replied and heard a hum for an reply. I looked forward again and saw that Ryou was at the end of the hall at his locker. "Hey Ryou, over here!" He looked over and waved, "Hey there Yugi." I ran over to him and looked behind to see (Y/N) walking over. He looked at her and whispered in my ear, "who's that?" I giggled and (Y/N) looked down at us. "This is (Y/N), she's ((he's)) new here," (Y/N) smiled at him and waved. "Nice to meet you (Y/N), I'm Ryou Bakura," he held out his hand to her((him)) and she ((he)) shook it. "It's nice to meet you too, Ryou." A small blush appeared on his face and he rubbed the back of his neck. A small giggle was hear from (Y/N) as she ((he)) watched Ryou's face get redder. I couldn't help but to smile when I heard her ((his)) giggle, it sounded so sweet. "Well I really should be getting back to class, I'll see you guy's later!" Ryou said as he quickly walked down the hall. Me and (Y/N) waved and I heard (Y/N) giggle again. "Bye Ryou!" I called to him and he simple waved and walked into his room. "Well he was nice," (Y/N) said as she ((he)) turned to me. I nod, "Yeah, he really is." "So should we head to class?" she ((he)) asked me and I nodded again. "Yeah come on its just down here," I walked down the hall and glanced behind me to see (Y/N) following me. I smiled, 'she ((he)) really is something.'
