While she was gone I thought back to last night, I didn't remember Anna reading her story at all. She must've had it already memorized, right? She wouldn't just walk in there for their test without studying before right? If she does there could be consequences!
We all waited hours and hours for her to return. Then my thoughts were confirmed, Anna didn't read her story and she didn't have it memorized. The creepy man from before announced that it was Ariana's turn. After what felt like minutes later she returned, face as pale as snow, saying that she passed. I asked confused,
"Then why do you look so scared?"
"Other then the fact that I was in a room full of those Story Tellers... I saw Anna." She responded not meeting my eyes.
"What do you mean?" I asked,
"I'm not sure. I saw a body bag being dragged past me down the hallway. Some hair was caught in the zipper and it looked blonde like Anna's. I guess when they say 'Answer incorrectly and you will be killed' they mean it."
