Chapter 5: To an Adventure!

After a few more days, Zack is finally able to get out of the hospital

Cheska: Ok sir, that will be 100 Fands!
Zack: Here you go. Luckily, I brought my wallet while I was playing with Lea -Zack whispered to himself

As Zack get out of the hospital, Tessie and Hans were waiting for him

Tessie: Alright, you ready?
Zack: Yeah! Let's go.

Zack, Tessie, and Hans then walked out of the village. Following Zacks lead, they finally started their adventure

Hans: Hey Zack...
Zack: Yeah?
Hans: I know that we are going to an adventure and all, but where exactly is our destination?
Zack: Well, first thing I have in mind is finding my friend, Lea. Then I plan on exploring all the other villages to see whats going on.
Hans: Oh... well um... there are no villages in that direction.
Zack: Oh... let's go east then!
Tessie: Uhmm... that's South....

For a moment, everyone stopped moving. As they looked around, they see trees. Lots and lots of trees

Tessie: Uhm.... don't tell me we're lost?
Zack: ...
Hans: ...
Tessie: Sheesh. It is my time to shine then!

Tessie touched her forehead and closed her eyes. After a few seconds, she opened her eyes

Tessie: It seems like there is a nearby village in the west. Follow me.
Zack: Woah, is that some sorta power?
Tessie: Yep. My power helps me see around me. So far, my maximum range is 1 km.
Zack: Woah!
Hans: Yeah. That is how we spotted your village. She can also see through anything, be it walls, trees, rocks, anything!
Tessie: Convenient eh? But I can only use it when I touch my forehead and closed my eyes.
Zack: Oh... then that means you cant detect incoming enemies right away huh? Can't you just walk around while touching your forehead and closing your eyes then? You can see anything around you anyways.
Tessie: I tried that once, but it seems like I need a lot or concentration to perform this technique. I have to stay absolutely still.
Zack: Oh... ok, lead the way then.

As they walk towards the village, they heard a loud roar

Bearkong: Grooaaawrrr ahhh ahh!
Hans: Holy snap! We are within that jungle!?!

The Bearkong charged into Zack

Zack: Pfft. Wrong move! Str boost...
Bearkong: Ooh ooh grooow groahh!

Zack inhaled deeply

Zack: Eat this! Ogre's Punch!

As the bearkong swing his gigantic hand towards Zack, Zack punched it back with a big hook. The air pressure was so intense that the gigantic hand flew away, bringing the bearkongs body with it

Bearkong: Grooooooooooaaaah!
Zack: Sheesh I overestimated it....
Hans: This is bad Zack... the jungle we are in is very dangerous!
Zack: Hmm? Why, what Jungle are we in?
Hans: We are within... the Jungle of Apes!
Tessie: The one you sent flying was one of the toughest apes though....
Zack: Ehhh... Oh well, lets continue anyways. Lead the way again Tessie!

After that incident, they then continued walking towards the village. As they walk towards the village

Zack: Woah...

Lots of monkeys are down. Seems like someone beated them

Zack: This... bruises... I see! *runs off*
Hans: Hey! Zack!
Tessie: Its ok, he is going towards the village, lets go!

Tessie and Hans followed Zack, who is running pretty fast. Probably used an agi boost

Zack: Phew... Agi boost isn't really efficient since with it, my endurance plummets...

As Zack finally stopped, he saw a girl

Zack: Ehehe... I knew it... Lea!
Lea: !!!

Zack waved his hand as he shouted her name

Lea: Stop! Run 10 steps to your right and jump after you count to 9! Now!

Zack, without hesitating, followed her instructions. As Zack run to his right, flaming arrows fired to his trail. After the count of 9, a huge log swinged to him

Zack: Woah ho hooo
Lea: It seems like the boss is intelligent.... Zack!
Zack: Yeah?
Lea: Do exactly this... *Lea, hesitantly, came closer to Zack and whispered him something*
Zack: ... WHAT!?!
Lea: I... I know! But this is the only way!

Zack then prepared himself to the thing that he was about to do. I wonder what is it? Why did he reacted like that? What exactly is the boss of the Jungle of Apes? Well, we will find out in the next Chapter!

He he heeey guys! TCM here. Well, first cliffhanger ending eh? Ehh? Personally, I hate cliffhangers but well, there are times where it really is needed. It helps build up the interest ahahaha. But if used too much, it could create the opposite effect. Anyways, yeah! Tessie has a power! Cool fact: Tessie's parents are map makers. They have the same ability as Tessie but more advanced. That is how they became rich. Sadly, the power can't be used to protect themselves in fights. Why did they not use this to find Tessie when she was kidnapped? Simple, even if they can see everything, they cant see a thing if there is some sort of magic that prevents them to do so. Ronald has a lot of "earned" stuffs so he just used that to prevent them from detecting Tessie. Well, Ronald was actually smart! Welp, thats all for now. As always, thank you for reading!
