The dragonets were so busy while buliding Jade Mountain Academy, they couldn't even think straight. Greil pointed this out because he was sitting down at a cliff and Sunny brushed him off on accident without even noticing. If she had not heard him yell her name, he would have splattered on the ground.
Rayben was sitting down at a cliff, wishing he could see a different version of the world.
Flower looked at him and sighed. She walked up to him and sat next to him as well.
"Hey little brother, how's it going?" She asked, nuding him in his hip.
Rayben didn't anwser but just looked at a cloud shaped like a dingus.(Waffles with Ice Cream.)
Flower frowned. She got up and walked to where Greil was. Greil looked at her, frowning.
"He's day dreaming about another world again and stop calling him little brother, you're not even our sister." Greil said.
"He wishes I was but I am way too old to be your guys sister. If only there was a way for me to be 17 again." Flower replied.
"I wonder if this new world exists every way he wants it to be." Greil said walking away with Flower.
Rayben glanced at his brother and friend walking away, got up, and went to go look for Starflight. Starflight was with Fatespeaker, who was reading him one of his favorite scrolls.
Rayben swished next to Fatespeaker, looking over her talon covering the scroll.
"Is that Rayben?" Starflight asked. Fatespeaker yelped when she finally realized Rayben was next to her.
"Yeah, it's him alright." Fatespeaker pouted, lashing her tail. "What do you want?"
"Just came to see Starflight and what he was doing." Rayben folded his arms. "But if you want me to go-"
"No. You're fine Rayben and it was getting boring with just me and Fatespeaker anyways." The NightWing replied.
"Oh, ok I guess I'll just sit down next to you Starflight." Rayben said, sitting down next to him.
After they settled down, moments past as Fatespeaker kept reading Tales of The NightWings. Rayben was just getting into the story until he recived a snout poke from Starflight.
"Yeah? Do you need some alone time with Fatespeaker?" Rayben said getting up.
"No, I have something really serious to ask." Starflight started.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think you would make a good blond." Rayben said outta nowhere.
"Not that. I don't wanna be blind anymore." Starflight said.
"Oh my globness . . ." Rayben gasped. "Wait, what does that have to do with me?"
"You know, your Six Paths power. The one you used to save me from near death." Starflight responded.
"Oh, but I don't remember what color your eyes were." Rayben patted Starflights bandages.
"I don't want my old eyes back, I want Masasumi eyes, so I can make NightWings seem cool and mysterious again." Starflight grabbed Raybens hand. "Please Rayben, I want to see the academy grow in this awful world."
Rayben knew for some reason "world" was a objective word he had to avoid. He looked at Starflights bandages and knew under them he had eyes of hope.
Rayben sighed and placed his other hand on Starflights talon.
"Give me five days, then I'll be ready to give you new eyes." Rayben said.
Starflight's expression was more than excited, it was estatic. He jumped up and started to shoot night blasts out of his hands, not knowing where he wae shooting. Fatespeaker ducked behing a rock and Rayben followed. They peeked over the rock and saw Starflights horrendusly happy face.
"Well, you gotta make sure you give him those eyes or else he'll never trust you again." Fatespeaker said, ducking out of the way of a night blast.
Rayben sighed heavily as a night blast shot right for his face. At this rate, Starflight will need those new eyes. . . -_-
