Chapter 4: New Day

It's 6:30 AM and I wake up to the quiet house. I start hearing Kandice making breakfast and Kamille singing songs. I get up and start to do the daily routine.

At 8:00 we arrive at the school and I say my goodbyes to them. I came out the car and walked into this nice school. I go to the office and they give me my schedule. It looked pretty confusing. While walking to class I seen the most cutest boy ever in my life. He stared at me for the longest. I sat down and class began. This one girl asked me what my name was and I accidentally said Ana. I didn't even care about it being Kourtnee as changed. Even if William finds out and comes for me. I could never hide under my skin. Perhaps, they could just change me last name though I'll keep Ana. I love my name. But the girls name was Farrah she was light skin with curly hair. She had on a white dress with a jean jacket with white sandals. She said welcome to LA High. I said Thanks for welcoming me here. After the bell rung she showed me around school.

Then lunch time came and we sat with two other girls. Gia & Natalie were their names. So I said hello and introduced my self to them and they said hey. Farrah asked me was I trying out for cheerleading because it was coming up the tryouts. I thought for a moment about Reagan how much in love and captain she is. In my head before I said my time will come. That means it will come as of right now. I said yes I'm trying out. They said we all are together. They told me practice was today after school. So I was like I have no clothes to wear. Farrah said she had shorts in her locker she would give. I continued eating and once again I see this boy that was staring at me. He was one cute boy the boys you would see from Atlanta. Farrah said "I'm peeping you and Jaden". I said he keeps staring at me weird. Gia asked what ever happened with Him and his girlfriend Ty'Liah. Farrah explains Jaden wanted a break from Tyliah. I was like in shocked that he wanted a break. Tyliah is the best volleyball player here at this school. She is known for her serves. I play volleyball too but I don't want to end up taking anyone's spot but I'm really focused on cheering. Jaden walks up to the table and introduces himself to me and grabs my hand and I stood up. "Your the most beautiful girl I ever seen, can I take you out after your practice" he said and everybody says aw. In my head how did he know I had practice but after I said yes and all I texted Kandice and told her how my day went and what I'm doing after school and will be home at 9:30. She replied and said she was happy I was meeting friends and everything already. I feel as she is a mother to me already.

At practice it was a lot of girls and I seen 3 mean looking people came and yelled at us and said this is not a game we are looking for the best only. In my head I was so nervous and scared I never cheered in my life. While we were in line waiting for our turn to go. I had to hurry and make a routine in the locker room before my turn had came. I made one up and didn't know what else to do. When my time came I showed out and none of the 3 people smiles at my routine. I ran out and started crying and scared and Gia and Farrah and Natalie. They said they never smile only people they smile at is us 3. They don't smile at new people I still kind of felt weird that they said that. When it was over they started calling names and I was the first one to get called.
I was so happy until.....
