[Chapter Two: Piercing Blue Eyes]

[Naruto's Pov]

When I finally managed to make it home with the poor bloody kitten still in my arms wrapped up in my coat, I rushed inside to my little apartment that luckily allows pets and set him on the kitchen counter gently. I opened cabinets and searched for what I needed.

I heard him meow softly making me stop what I was doing and smile his way. It was too adorable..

I have a soft spot for animals, especially cats.

I almost forgot what I was doing. Jumping in realization I frantically ran around my house in search of bandages. With a look of determination I searched my bathroom, where I should have check first but didn't, and found them in the drawer. I grabbed a towel just in case before running back into my kitchen to find that the kitten who I really need to give a name hasn't moved an inch other than breathing.

Picking up his little body, I unraveled him from the blanket and turned on the faucet. I wasn't exactly sure what or how to do this but I will try my damn hardest to save this little kitten's life. There were no Vets around for miles and I don't have a car so that's kinda out of the question.

When the water was the right temperature I took a cloth and damping it. When it was damp enough for my liking I turned, I'm just gonna call him Raven for the moment, towards me so I could see his wound a little better and began to clean the blood until I could see where the wound was in fact. His fur bunched up as I continued to wet and clean the blood.

I don't think he liked it very much because he twitched but didn't wake up. At least now I know he's still alive.

When I did finally manage to clean off all the blood from his fur I located the wound and grabbed the bandage. I cleaned the wound the best I could and wrapped him up good so the bleeding would stop.

I took hold of his little body gently, cuddling his body into my own and walked into my bedroom to set him down and at least have him get some rest on something more comfortable than a kitchen counter or a coat. I gently laid him on the bed and put a blanket carefully over him.

I smiled when he stirred in his sleep. I guess he isn't too unconscious, he may wake up soon but until then i'm gonna take a nap.

Yawning I stretched and laid down next to the little guy cuddling into him.

[Sasuke's Pov]

I groaned.

Why does my head hurt so much?, I wondered as I opened my eyes. I jumped up ignoring my body's protests and looked around frantically.

Okay the real question now is where the hell am I?

As I looked around my eyes landed on a figure lying down beside me. He was cuddled up next to me and he looked so peaceful. I sat down on my back legs and stared at him. He was pretty cute with his blonde hair scattered all over the bed. His fringe covering his eyes, which I'm totally dying to see.

Speaking of dying why do I feel like I was hit by a bus. My back is sore and hurts. I looked back and saw it was all bandaged up.

What happened?

That's when all of the memories of what had happened with the running and that damn dog came back. I shivered unconsciously and looked back at the blonde.

I watched as he stirred in his sleep, looking so innocent. Deciding to play with him a little I stood up on the bed and rubbed my small cat body against him running my tail under his nose. I chuckled as he swatted my tail away. The chuckle came out a a meow, like usual, and once it did the blonde boy shot up almost knocking me over.

I meowed and caught myself by digging my claws into his mattress being careful not to rip any holes into it though.

"Huh?" He said as he stretched, his shirt riding up a little bit exposing his pale but not too pale stomach. He looked over at me with his piercing blue eyes. I almost shifted right then and there but held myself back not wanting to scare him away...just yet. [xD I don't even know.]

He gave me a small smile and picked me up. I usually hate being picked up. Mostly because that person either wants to kill me or throw me into a wall. People are brutal nowadays. There's something about this boy though..

I flinched as he placed me on his lap and stroked my head. I purred and rubbed my head against his stomach. He smiled showing me his somewhat perfect white teeth. I meowed and stood up on my hind legs. I leaned my paw onto his chest and kissed his face. It came out as me liking his face repeatedly but i'm not complaining.
