Chapter 3

Nicki Pov

I got home and started making dinner for Nathan because I know he likes my home cooked meals. And while I was cooking, I couldn't stop thinking about the weird conversation we had on the phone earlier. But I decided to shake it off and finish dinner. Just as I had turned the stove off I heard the door open and saw Nathan walk in.
"Hey babe." I said to him
"Uh hey." He said back. I walked over to him and gave him a kiss as he took off his jacket. When I pulled away from the kiss I noticed a red mark on his collar but decided to not worry about it.
"Um are you hungry?" I asked after a few moments of awkward silence.
"Um no I ate at work." He said back
"I thought there was no eating in the office." I said to him innocently.
"Well no I ate before I got home." He said looking at the floor
"Oh ok." I responded back while he was going up the stairs towards our bedroom. I was still in the kitchen for a few minutes wiping the counter off when I decided to go see what Trinity is doing. When I went upstairs I heard Nathan talking to someone, I thought it was Trinity until I heard what he was saying.
"Look would you calm down she doesn't know." He whisper-shouted into the phone.
"You just saw me an hour ago." He continued
"Ok ok fine. I'm on my way." He said then hung up. I quickly went into the opposite end of the hallway before he saw me.
"Um hey Nic?" He said to me
"Yeah babe." I said turning around to him.
"I'll be back soon ok" he said
"Well where are you going?" I asked him
"Nowhere don't worry about it."
"Oh ok well I love you." I said as he was shutting the door. I don't know what's going on with him, but I hope I'm not losing my husband.

Meek Pov

Damn. Seeing Nicki was amazing. The last time I saw her she was with her husband. Me and Nathan used to be homies but he been real off lately. Probably been off in his marriage too. But that's ok because Imma be plottin on the low to steal his wifey😜 .

(Nathan in the mm) Sorry this took so long, but school and sports have been taking over my life😩. Anyway this chapter is a bit longer but not as long as they will be in the future. Thank you guys so much for supporting this book. Please keep giving me feedback😌❤️
