Chapter 4

Nicki's POV

Two Days Later:
"Yeah I know Tasha."
"No, you obviously don't know because you're letting him run you."
"No I'm not I just-"
"You just love and trust him yeah I know blah blah blah. But it's obvious he's betraying your trust and you acting like you don't see a thing."
"That's not true I just...(breathes deeply) I just don't know.
"I gotta go...because if we talk about this anymore I'm gonna have to pay a visit to him by my damn self. And I know you don't want that."
"Nope, sure don't. Haha"
"Okay, bye Nic."
"Bye Tash."
I had just gotten off the phone with my best friend. I was telling her about Nathan. She thinks he's cheating, but I just don't see it. I trust my husband...and that's a good thing...right?
I suddenly was taken out of my thoughts by my phone ringing. I answered it without looking at the caller ID but was happy when I found out who it was.
"Hey wassup Nic?"
"Hey Meek."
"I gotta favor to ask you."
"Ooook...what's up?"
"Well you know I'm moving into this new house right?"
"Yeah."
"Well I was wondering if you could help me decorate it. I mean I'm not good at that kinda shit. So what do you say...wanna help a nigga out?"
"I'd love to Meek. Tell you what, text me the day your moving into your new place and I'll help you look at some of the stuff you already have."
"Aight thanks Nic I appreciate it."
"No problem."
"I'll hit you up later Nic."
"Ok. Bye Meek"

Meek Pov

I had just gotten off the phone with Nicki and damn. Ok now usually I'm the type of nigga that gets everything professionally done cause you know...I just got it like that😎. But I thought of this as a way to get closer to Nicki and get her to see that I'm what she wants not that dumbass nigga Nate. But she'll see it sooner or later...betta believe that😏.

Nicki Pov

"Hey Trin come here!" I slightly yelled so she could hear me.
"Yes mom." She said with a sweet look in her eyes.
"Do you wanna call daddy and see if he wants to go to Chuck E Cheese? I asked
"No." She said with a pout on her face."
"And why not?" I questioned her.
"Because he's never supposed to go to chuck E cheese without me. EVER." She said to me a mad tone of voice.
"Oh no silly I meant go with us." I said to her with a slight giggle. Her face lit up as those words can out of my mouth.
"Oh well than in that case...YAAAAY!" She said in a now happy tone.
"Good, now let's go get dressed and. call daddy."
(Thirty minutes later)
Trin and I got dressed and I was calling Nathan for the third time now to see if would finally pick up, and to my surprise, he did.
"Hey babe what's up."
"Oh nothing I just wanted to know if you wanted to go with Trin and I to Chuck E Cheese."
"Oh yeah ok sure. I'll be at the house in like 35 minutes."
"Okay. Bye babe."
"Yeah ok. Bye"
(1 hour later)
Me and Trinity have been waiting here for an hour. I've called him at least 15 times and he's not answering. You know what. Forget this.
"Trinity come here."
"Where are we going mommy?" She asked innocently
"To chuck E cheese, like we planned." I responded.
"I thought daddy was coming with us." She said sadly.
"Um not today sweetheart."
"Oh ok." She said looking like she was about to cry.
"Hey don't be sad." I said trying to cheer her up. "How about I buy you a cotton candy at Chuck E Cheese while we're there?"
"Yay! Ok" she said now cheering up. And with that I drove off to Chuck E Cheese.
