The color of the grass
Reflects a color palet
Yellow, green and even brown
While were at it
But still the sharp spears are still mostly green
Faded by the morning sun
And washed by the dew until clean
A natural process at work
We observe in awe
It can even be eaten
Just not by humans when raw
