After I got the list of music that i was gonna play I started practicing like crazy. I had to learn the words and the song on the drums. It was really hard but i got through it. I learned it all of it in about two days. I pretty much just crammed it all in my head. I practiced every free moment i got. I had one day until i had to play all of these songs for alot of people. I wanted to make this girls birthday amazing.
The night came quickly. I practiced all day. I also hadnt eaten either. I was so nervous. Was i gonna forget the words? Pass out? Throw up? Needless to say i felt terrible. But in a good way. I hadnt felt excited for somthing in a long, long time.
We were all set up and ready to go. I was rehearsing everything in my head when a sexy guy walked up timy set. He snickered and kissed me (on the lips). "What the hell do you think you are doing!?!" I asked in a whisper yell. I didnt want to cause a scene on my first gig.
"Uhhh...that's wierd usally girls get so turned on by that. Lets try thay again." He leaned in and I slapped him hard in the face. Some people looked over but most payed no attention to the sexy jerk in front of me.
He stood up and walked away saying nothing. The boy who was playing the bass guitar laughed. I glanced over atpt him and he immediately stopped. "Its ok you can laugh." I assured him. They both began laughing. The host snapped her fingers at us. When she caught our attention she motioned us to play. We scurried to our places. My band teacher hopped up on the stage and whispered in my ear
"We found a drummer so you have to sing."
"Ok thanks!" I replied happily. I loved singing and was really good at it. When i was about four years old I started singing and at 7 years old i began playing the drums. I was never afriad to sing in front of people. I actually insisted on singing.
I looked over my shoulder to see the drummer and 7t was the sexy jerk that tried to suduce me with a kiss. What an asshole! Guys like that make me sick!
