Dianna's POV

It was one O'clock in the morning when my water broke. Eddie carried all of us to the car and I called Patrick. When we arrived at the hospital they admitted me right away. Patrick sat with the girls while Eddie came in with me. After a while the doctors let the girls and Patrick in. I was three centimetres dilated by two O'clock in the morning. I chose to have the epidural because for my last two births I had to have emergency C-Section. I wanted this baby to be born naturally, but I cannot take pain the best.

The girls crawled up in bed with me and feel asleep. Patrick was talking to Eddie like an old friend whom I felt he knew would make me feel better. At one point I fell asleep and when I woke up Demi was sleeping in Patrick's arms. I just smiled at that and Eddie told me he got a picture of that. The doctor came back at five O'clock and I was now five centimetres dilated.

We were watching good morning America and by eight thirty in the morning I was getting ready to push. Eddie took the girls out and Patrick was holding my hand. He was always good when I was in labour. It was then I realized that this man does not love me anymore but he cares for the better of me and he knew he can't give me what I want, so he is handing me away.

After a little more than two hours of pushing at 10:28am the doctor says it's a girl. I breathe than I look at Patrick and say why is she not crying and I started crying; thinking the worst. The doctor just says the baby is alright. They brought her over to me and Patrick to see her and then they take her away.

I was concerned by all the doctors and nurses they were very emotional. A while later they brought my daughter in for me to hold. The nurse was in tears and said that my other family can come in. Eddie came in with the girls and I saw on his face that something was wrong. The girls were in love with their new baby sister and Eddie had a smile on his face. Then I said what's wrong with everyone?

Eddie looked at me and said "the twin towers are gone." Patrick looked at him and said "what." I remember Eddie telling us that two planes hit them and they were both gone by 10:28. Patrick said that was when little miss was born. Then it hit me Patrick's sister worked at the towers and Patrick walked out of the room and that's when I told Eddie about his sister.

After a while he came in with tears in his eyes and just took our daughter in his arms. I knew then that his sister was gone and our daughter is the new beginning for him. It was Dallas who piped up and asked what the baby's name is. It was Patrick that spoke saying her name is Charity Dustine Nova Lovato. I smiled that he knew I wanted the name originally for Dallas but we chose Dallas instead. Charity's full name means hope, warrior and new beginnings. The name speaks to the day that she was born on. She brings us a hope in a new beginning for all of our lives.

Patrick's POV:

My heart hurts and my feelings are all over the place. First of all I lost the love of my life, though I know that Eddie is good for all of them. Secondly I just lost my sister; she was the right in my family. Thirdly I just had my last child and she is beautiful and through the world around her is falling she is shining through the darkness. I want to be the best father I can be to all my girls and make things right. From now on my kids come first.
