CHAPTER 3 - Pain
I go down to the parking lot.Then drive my car. While i'm driving i feel uneasy. Parang di mawala-wala yung kaba ko. If my heart could jumpout of my body siguro nasa malayo na sya sa sobrang lakas ng tibok.
As i reach the Restaurant ,my anxiousness strikes me. What's happening to me? I calm down myself . As i feel quite easy i walk and enter the restaurant.
I saw him . He looks sad. My feelings earlier was back. My heart beats fast. I walk slowly to him.
"Dale" he look to me. All i can read in his eyes is sadness.
"Have a sit" he pull me a chair and let me sit.
"Thank you" i said. He just smiled at me but his smile doesn't reach his eyes.
"Ano yung sasabihin mo?" i ask.
"Later, mag-order muna tayo" He said in low sad tone.
"Okay" i reply. Then the waiter took our order. We stay silent.
"Here's your order Madame and Sir." the waiter said. We eat in full of silence . As i finish my food, niyaya ko na syang lumabas for our Private talk. As we reach his car. I voice out all my thoughts on my mind.
"Ano ba talaga yung sasabihin mo? " i utter.
"I'm married. " pabulong na sagot nya . i froze. I feel my eyes is watering..
"W-what? Niloloko mo ba ako? Paano nangyari yun?" then suddenly my tears fall through my cheeks. I can't take what he's saying now.
"Sorry. I was caught up of my father. I didn't wanted it. I just need to. It's for your sake." he answered.
"for my sake? what the fvck Dale! It's not for my sake! Kelan pa huh? tska kanino ka kinasal?" i said harshly.
"I'm sorry Cyan. I didn't love the woman i married. I just need to marry her for your sake. Listen to me please!" he utter while crying.
"*Sob* *sob* Who's the woman you marry?" i said while sobbing.
"It's Hailey. Your bestfriend." he whispered. Shit. It strikes me. My gad. My childhood bestfriend. Fvck. I feel betrayed.
I ran away. I immediately went to my car.
"Cyan!" hinabol nya ako. He caught me.
"Dale, Please. let me go" i push him. Hindi nya na ako hinabol . He just let me go . I drive my car away from him.
My heart breaks into pieces. It hurts too much. My vision was blurred. I stop driving because it i can't drive well. my head is aching.
i grab my phone and call Alexa. she's the matured one. she can tell me what to do. I gonna ask her to fetch me.
"hello*hik*" i said as she answer my call.
"Oh, laine? what happened? why are you sobbing?" she asked in a concerned tone.
"i'll explain later. can you fetch me here in *** highway. just hail *hik* a cab and you drive *hik* my car?"
" yeah. i'm coming. wait me there" and she hunged up.
i'm still crying. ang sakit talaga eh. yung taong minahal ko. kasama ko for four years. akala mo ikaw yung taong pinapangarap nyang pakasalan kasi ganun ka sakanya. tapos malalaman ko kasal na? parang gumuho yung mundo ko.
knock.knock.
napitlag ako ng biglang may kumatok sa window ng kotse ko.
binaba ko yung window then nakita ko si Alexa. i Immediately open the door and lumipat sa passenger seat.
"what happened?" she ask.
"he's married." she looks at me na parang naguguluhan.
"what?" she asked again.
"Dale is married to Hailey." then tumulo na naman ang mga luha ko.
"what the. pano nangyari yun?" she hissed.
"i don't know. *sob* " i answered while sobbing.
"Bakit sa dinami-dami ng pwede nyang pakasalan si Hailey pa? our bestfriend."
she said while tapping my back .
"I don't know what's the real story . i Didn't let him to explain. " i tell to her.
"Hm. listen to him laine. maybe he has a reason why he had to married Hailey."
she advices to me.
"Yes, i will. I'll listen. i want to hear his reasons. " i answer . i stop crying now. I'm tired. I feel exhausted i want to sleep .
"Can you bring me to my pad? i want to rest." i ask her.
"yes. i gonna spend my night there too." I just smile at her. smile that full of pain. She just sighed.
"are you hungry? " she ask while driving.
"kinda . . "
"uh okay. " then she turn to the drive thru. she ordered for hers.
"do you want anything?"
"hm. can i have some sundaes. A caramel and chocolate. also a large fries" the she tell it to the crew. as we get our orders she drove again to My pad. We reach my pad and enter .
"Let's eat." we eat. after we finish eating i take a half bath. then Alexa too. Buti na lang magka size lang kami so i lend her my clothes. as we finish cleaning ourselves we head to bed.
