The new patient next door

I have no hope left. MY depression worsens and it hurts just to wake up in the morning. It starts to get harder to fake a smile and I just wish I could disappear out of this earth .I feel like I'm the reason people around me hurt .I've become suicidal and truly believe that the only way out is death.Yes ,that's what i'll do. I'll kill myself...Then I won't be a drag to the people around me .I'll be killing two birds with one stone : I , for one ,won't hurt anymore.I won't get told I behave this way because I want attention.Second ,the people I care about ,mostly, won't be hurting ,once I'm dead .............That's what i'll do ..I'll end the pain .I'LL BE FREE!!

"Mrs.Elaine please wake up ; i've brought your medicine ." The nurse called to the sleeping body lying on the bed .After a few more calls Elaine finally opened her eyes.She turned towards the nurse rubbing her eyes.She was tired ,her back hurt,the beds here were hard ,and her skin was pale from the lack of sunshine.She took the pills from the nurse and laid back on her bed ,making a groaning sound with her troath , once the nurse walked out of her room.

Staying in this mental hospital was worse than hell to her.Everyday she did the same thing .The nurse would wake her up at 7:00 a.m ,give her the medications,check her blood pressure and weight.Then she had to take all this classes during the day .Then lunch would come and it would be followed by more classes and a break and finally she would go to bed.

Once she felt more in the mood to be around people ,which happens to be rare,she walked out of her room and into the hallway where the nurse was taking the blood pressure of the patients.

'Doctor Ryley,remember to go and check on the new patient once you are done with your work here."The Office lady told the doctor handing her, what Elaine guessed, was the paperwork of the new patient. Elaine looked away trying not to seem interested in what the nurse had just been told.She stood up, once she was done with her checkup, and went to go get breakfast.

"so a new patient came over night ."She taught to herself as she grabbed a chair and sat in the back of the room avoiding the patients smiles or good mornings .Elaine wasn't mean ,don't get me wrong ,she was just used to being alone and keeping to herself .

As the day passed by Elaine noticed the new patient had not come out at all ,not even to eat ,but deep inside Elaine wasn't surprised for she had not come out of her room the first two days either.

Two days Passed and still no sight of the new girl .Everyone was starting rumors of why she kept herself in her room and had no roommate.Elaine walked out of the room irritated .girls and their gossip ,she thought .She was too busy rattling to herself and didn't notice she had walked into the new patients room instead of hers.

Elaine immediately tensed up and the new patient stared at her expecting her to speak or explain why she had just barged into her room .

"Ummm,do you want to join us today ,for group session ?"she asked stuttering in between words.

The patient sitting on the bed looked up at her and after a moment answered ,"NO ....I'm fine"showing no emotion in its voice .Elaine stood on the patients doorway confused .The girl in front of her looked like a boy and sounded like a boy .After a long pause her muscles were finally working again and she walked out and looked at the sign in the patient's door reading Victoria .If she had been on the streets and saw this this person she would have never figured it was a girl.

Maybe it wasn't a girl ;maybe they ran out of space in the guys side and had to put him in the girls side .That would explain the reason why he had no roommate.But what about the name tag to his room ? It read Victoria ...

Elaine walked into her room and tried pushing all the confusing thoughts away .figuring there was no way she would find out the gender until she asked him,yes she was sure it was male, herself.

As she lied in bed she thought of how much she hated being here.She had lost count of how long she had been in this hospital ;yet all this days and her mother had not come to visit her once.

"Does my mother even care ?"She asked herself. The only one that showed any sighn of caring was her sister whom would come to see her as much as she could.Elaine wouldn't be surprised if her mother officially disowned her after all that had happened.

She turned around ,trying to push away all the negative thoughts going though her head ,and faced the empty bed next to her .The boy in the room with the door reading Victoria would have been her roommate.Yet ,he had his own room .Truly she wasn't complaining .Specially if Victoria person was a boy .Elaina wasn't a fan of the male species.

Sleep finally got to her and she fell asleep with a smile on her face.Talking to Victoria was the most she had spoken to any on the patients since being here and she had a feeling things were going to be different around here .

ok so what do you guys think so far ?Im writting in second person which is kinda hard since im used to writting in first on my other account .well comment on what you think ect .Is the patient sleeping next door to Elaine a girl or is it a boy whom ,According to elaine ,had to be on the girls side since they must have ran out of space on the boys dorms.....

btw ill introduce aiden on the next chapter <3
