High school was terrifying.
I kept on thinking that I would bite someone at the end of the day, or something like that.
My best friend, Ava, was totally traumatized when I told her.
"I'm going to have nightmares, Gladys! Why did you have to tell me? You know how much I hate horror!" Ava exclaimed.
"Sorry! I just thought that best friends go through bad times together, okay? We will have an amazing day, and we shall forget about it!" I tried to cover everything up and make her feel better but she still had a worried look on her face.
But thankfully Ava forgot about it soon like in 6 minutes literally. Soon, we were talking about how much her ex-boyfriend sucked.
"I know, right? He was the worst hugger , man! He would bro-hug me, like, WHO DOES THAT? Oh, yeah, ONLY BRAE. Yeah, and what kind of name is Brae? Only a CHEATER'S name. Yeah. He cheated on me while he was cheating on the other chick, and then cheating on both of us!" Ava was ranting, shouting so that everyone can hear.
Brae walked past us awkwardly, staring at Ava then briefly held up the middle finger.
I went and slapped him, and Ava hugged me.
"B.T.W Ava, 'hugger' isn't a word."
I said, laughing.
She laughed as well, but the thing is, the next thing that happened was so EMBARRASSING!
I tripped (SO EMBARRASSING...!), and then that trip resulted into falling.
Everyone was staring at me and I felt like crawling back into my little rabbit hole. But obviously I couldn't, cause like, it's SCHOOL!
Then, Ava came and jumped onto me and declared for a dog pile. I just laughed and everyone joined. We were having so much fun and then Principal Carey came and ruined it.
"What are you doing, people? Get to class!" She practically SCREAMED at us to get to class.
