Last weekend I got a phone call from a café I applied to work for. They actually decided to hire me!! They loved how patient and kind I was and thought I'd be perfect with handling customers. I officially start Monday, since my classes only run til noon. I'm actually pretty excited.

If my parents can't afford to pay for a trip, then by God I'll earn enough money for me to run away for a week and then come back and beg for forgiveness. I'll beg like I've never begged before.

For the past week I've seriously been contemplating how I can make a jail break and run away with Kiera to London once I've earned enough money. Late at night I find myself role playing apologetic excuses I would give my parents when I return home, after I disappeared with out their consent.

They'd probably never trust me again... But honestly I think we'd be able to move past it eventually. I could totally be a rebel for one week of my life right? I texted Kiera and she agrees.

We're running away.

Ok, I'll come pick you up ;)

And that's basically how our conversation went.

Well. Another Saturday spent in my bed writing poems with my calligraphy set and music playing in the background. I was supposed to go sweater shopping with Ki today but some of her friends from out of town were in the area, so we rescheduled. I envy her life of spontaneous events.

It's finally Monday and I can not wait to start my first day at work! My shift is from 1pm-6pm and I'm getting paid $10.00 and hour. I know it's not that much but hey it's something! If I can work 20 hours every week, that's already $800.00 in just one month! I just have to make sure I SAVE my money, and not SPEND it.

By the time I graduate I could have approximately $5,600.00 so long as I don't spend anything. Which I doubt, so my goal is to have at least $5,000.00 which should be MORE than enough for plane tickets, and clothes.

I already have $1,000.00 in cash from babysitting since I was 13 years old. Anyways, I'm off to Sassy Beans Café and I'm getting anxious. I specifically chose this café because I know it's not a popular place that a lot of people go to. I'd like to avoid as much schoolmates as possible out in public thanks.

My first week I'll be supervised by my trainer. And if I catch on to things quickly I'll be able to do things on my own.

"Hi you must be Valentine!" A young girl said as she greeted me behind the counter. "My name is Elle and I'm going to be helping you figure out your way around here."

"Nice to meet you!" I said with a smile, and shook her hand. "I have to admit, I'm a bit nervous."

"Ah it's no worries love! It's going to take a few cups of coffee before you figure out the differences between a latte and a mocha. And that's talking from experience." She said with a smile.

Elle is a very pretty girl. She has long red hair and big brown eyes. I can't tell her nationality but whatever it is why couldn't my parents have made me like that? Ugh.

"Haha I just pity all the customers I get on my first day." I said honestly.

"Well you started on a good day!" Elle had a sarcastic tone in her voice.  "We allow some people to play music outside the café on Mondays and Friday's, and there is a 2:00pm regular who seems to bring in a crowd."

"Oh joy..." I nervously replied. She was making me anxious, like does she not want me to do a good job?

"It's cool. I'll be right by your side!" She gave me a wink along with that comforting statement.
