Rachel and Niall have been best friends since they were babies.

When Rachel was five she moved out with her Mom to England to get away from their abusive father.

Everything was going fine in England ...for Rachel's mum. But Rachel ? No she hated it there her whole school turned against her .

She had to put up with bullies and she had no friends anymore.

She never saw Niall after she left Ireland , her mum though still kept in touch with Niall's mum , Maura. But only by emails and even they were rare.

Rachel and Rachel's best and only friend Suzie go out shopping on Rachel's 18th birthday. When they return Rachel's old friend is there, Niall.

After an incident Rachel ends up in hospital. when she returns , she has been told to stay at home so she can rest.

Niall thinks it would be a good idea to introduce Rachel to the rest of his band , One Direction.

But what Niall doesn't know is that she already knows one of his best mates. And their past isn't pleasant for either if them.

What will happen when she wants to stay with her old "besti" but to be as far away from his mate?
