But oh my fudging god she got me a border collie !

" so any names coming to mind ?for this little cutie pie!" Suzie cooed cradling the small furry pup.

" umm ... yeah ! I'm gonna name him bobby it suits him !"

"Naww that's adorable ! Now open your other presents"

After pleanty of wonderful presents I finally got to the last one . It was a little square box about the size of your palm.

It was from my mom ...oh jeez she and suz got me loads today !

I hope to god that she didn't spend too much. I opened the box and furrowed my eye brows together. Why would she get me a car key ... Where is she I need to ask her about this.

"Mom!where are you?"

" out here sweety "

I followed her voice to the hall and out the front door. I stopped dead in my tracks.

"Mom...? What's this ? What's going on?" I said completely shellshocked.

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUNNY!!"

I screamed and ran over to her and

jumped on her. I then went over to inspect my brand new pink cotton candy coloured Mini Cooper.

It even has the two stripes and leather seats and fluffy cotton candy coloured snake eyes (the dice that hang from the rear view mirror)... and ... Oh. My. God. The roof can come off!!!

I screamed again and tackled suzie and mom in a bear hug.

"Well ready to go shopping and the cinema ?"

"No shi--sugar !! No sugar ! Of course i do lets go suz ad thank you so so so much both of you. "

I pulled up into the drive way at 8 pm . I loved my car so much and so did suzie.

We even just drove around in circles for a little while. I never usually drove but I did have a full licence and I think we all know I will be driving everywhere now. We walked in the house and heard voices

"Hello?" I called

"Hunny we have another present for you !"

Suz and I exchanged weird looks before walking into the kitchen. I saw mom smiling big beside a blond guy around my age.

He looked shocked at something. I looked around the room in confusion.

"Umm....mom ?please don't tell me that you got a guy as a present ? I'm sorry umm....guy? But my mom might be just the slightest bit crazy neither now since she brought home a stranger ....as a birthday present..."

The boy laughed ...ok ...

"Well Rachel I see you have no clue who I am ..." He laughed in a sort of Irish accent but I couldn't really tell because of him laughing. I cocked an eye brow.

"Um no sorry ... But you seem to know me . Well anyways. Hi I'm Rachel " I said extending my arm to shake.

He laughed again. Does he ever stop?

"Hello rach I'm Niall " he said with a knowing smile.

I scrunched my face up in confusion and concentration ... Niall ....Niall ... I know this name

Irish accent...Niall .... Rach .... Knows who I am ... Laughs a lot...

That's all I was thinking. He looks familiar , he looks really familiar but he doesn't as well.

" hi. Umm. This is my best friend suzie. " I indicated to suzie who was practically joined to my hip. They shook hands.

" do you know him?" Suz whispered to me. I shrugged my shoulders and shock my head . Telepathically saying I don't know.

"Hey ! So ... How do know rach?"she asked niall . Way to get straight to the point

"Well you obviously don't recognise me ...but i cant blame you i have changed a lot so we might as well tell you .... Well you see me and Rachel here go all the way back to birth and we were best friends until we were five ... She then moved here and I haven't heard from her since" they both turned to me I probably looked like some crazy bug because it felt as if my eyes were almost out of their sockets.

"N-Niall ?..."

"The one and only"

I squealed and ran over and brought him into a bone crushing hug. He stumbled but hugged back.

"Oh my god I haven't seen you in so long ! What happened to your hair ?!? Your blonde !"

"No . I'm ginger " he said sarcastically " yeah I bleached it and I have been for bleaching it for years "

"So ... What brings you here ? I don't mean to be rude or anything it's just it's so out of the blue "

" well I knew you were birthday was this month and my mum and your mum were emailing and she told me your birthday was today and today also happened to be when I was coming here with some mates to visit some of their family ... And I didn't want to be here on your birthday and not even say happy birthday and especially if you were just down the road. So ...um HAPPY BIRTHDAY " he yelled the ending .

This caused everyone to burst out laughing . Everyone had calmed down but I still was giggly and I tried to put on a poker face to calm down ...obviously I burst out laughing again.

We all got on well together me,suz and Niall all exchanged details to keep in touch. Niall stayed for dinner but then said he had to leave to go back to his friends. We all said good bye and I gave him another hug.

"Oh my he was hot!"

"I still any believe how much he has changed and JESUS he's gotten tall. I used to be taller than him !"

" so you two were best friends back in Irel-" suz was cut off by my phone.

I went to check who it was

" what's wrong you look like you just saw a ghost ?!" Suzie asked I just showed her the text. And her smile just dropped
