Tarons PoV
What just happened? Actually WTF??? What? Dear lord Jesus explain? I need a cleanse. One of those celebrity cleanses that make you lose your mind as well as your stomach.
He tried to kiss me. Actually tried to kiss me. I didn't repulse him. Or was he being nice. Nope. He had a fever and he wasn't thinking straight and I accidentally gave him two hallucinogens instead of ibuprofen. Yup that's it.
After my intense self questioning, I decided sitting in the car is not a whole lot productive and I still had to drop by and see Tay.
TAY.
I stepped in the gas, Probably breaking several traffic laws as I got home. I chucked on some skinnies and a jumper, laced up my converse and was out the door in record time.
I sped down the road and directly into the first spot in the car park. Literally just chucked it in.
I sprinted to the reception and logged in, still running, to Tay's room.
"Ron!"
Just as I was walking along her floor, I heard a voice. I clumsily spun around on my feet and as I stopped, I spread my arms out to regain balance.
I looked up to see Jace. Pronounced Jake. "Jace!" I ran towards him and engulfed him in a bone crushing hub.
"Get off. Get off. Get off." He pushed me off and smiled.
"I was just going to see Tay."
"I just got back from her room actually. She's doing okay. Nancy told me you were gonna tell her."
"Yup. I don't know how though. It's going to be so difficult."
"She's been her for three years. She's never got any better. Sayings that, neither have I. I'm 16 now Ronnie. I've missed out on so much. I've been here since I was 12. You help her. You make her strong. You make me strong."
I grabbed Jace again and held him tight. He wiped my tears and nodded for me to go ahead. "I think you should come. You're her boyfriend. She needs the support."
He nodded in agreement and advanced to her room with me.
I knocked. "Tay?"
"Come in." I heard her weak voice. It was raspier than before. She did it again.
I ran in and hugged her. She melted into me and cried. She was so small. Weak and fragile.
"I need to tell you something." She looked up at me with her blue eyes.
"This treatment isn't working T. We need to do something else. The doctors, nurses, dietitians. They don't know what else to do. You refuse everything. The help," Jace say down next to her and cradled her softly. "The support, the food. You can't keep doing this."
"T. No." She pleaded. "I'll stop. I'll try harder. I'll do anything else. I can't do this. You know I can't. You told me yourself. How many times did you give up?"
I gulped. "Where am I now? Without it I'd be six feet under and not here with you. You are family and I will do whatever I can to help you."
She buried her face into Jace and sobbed. Loudly. Soaking his tshirt through. I needed some air. I motioned to Jace to see whether he'd be okay and he nodded.
Once I was outside, I broke down. The tears came in steady streams, filled with memories I'd rather not recall.
I walked back in. Tay was asleep, next to Jace, cuddled tightly. I pressed a soft kiss to both their foreheads and silently waved at Jace and exited the building.

The grass was slightly damp but oh well. I could hear the rustle of leaves and calls of birds. Serenity. Completely contradicting the mess in my head. If you could see inside, it'd look like a dilapidated house with lava geysers and trembling floors. Everything misplaced, messy.
I sighed. I breathed in the fresh crisp air and lay back. I needed to was my hair anyway. (Ohmygosh 666 words again. Satan has cursed me. He's ma bestie 4 lyfe)
I closed my eyes and fell asleep, forgetting that essay and plans I made with Dani.
Sorry this is shit and short but I had nothing else to add. This gives you a massive insight to Tarons past and how she relates to Tay and Jace.
