The rest of the day went by smoothly.
Somehow I managed to stay clear of Stilies after hearing his little conversation with Scott about thyself. I wanted to think I was mad at him for thinking differently of our relationship, but I couldn't blame him. I was using Scott for my own selfish reasoning, and somehow he caught along with it.
Lunch came around and I sat with Scott at our usual lunch table, when Isaac unexcepctly showed up. He was never the most out going guy, never-the-less conversation starter, but after his little 'attitude change' as he likes to call it, he has become a pretty cool guy.
"Scott, I gotta talk to you. Now." His eyes searched for urgentsy and I could even see them flicker to the smooth yellow I was so used to.
Scott seemed nervous from Isaac's quick actions and stood up, knocking not only his but my tray over as well.
"Shit- babe I'm sorry. Isaac just hold on lemme cl-"
"It's alright. I got it, you two run along and play with eachother." I said smirking. I was thanked by a quick peck on my cheek as Scott ran down the cafiteria following Isaac's lead. As I bent down to clean up the mess sprawled along the floor, another body lowered itself.
"Can I help you Stiles?" I smiled up to him, waiting for his eyes to meet mine, but they never did.
"Just wanted to help." He said, his voice shaking a bit. I had to hold back a small chuckle. This kid is nervous around me.
"No worries, I got it."
"Nah, come on Adelina let me help." I wasn't going to find with him, he'll win this little argument. As we set both trays alongside the table, I offered him a seat. He quickly shooke his head in protest and started rambling about some test.
He's lying.
"Come on Stilies, we never get to talk anymore." My arm reaches for his sholdur as I push him onto the plastic chairs. His body shudderes from my touch, causing me to smirk in humor.
"Well you know....you and Scott...you've been really busy..."
"Look, I'm not trying to have some possive girlfriend conversation abotu Scott, you know I'm not one of them. Atleast I hope you don't" His eyes widened and met mine, but soon fell back to the marble tables. "You know, I think we would actually be good friends Stilies. I known I haven't been here long but you never know." I try sending out as many hints as possible, mentioning his little conversation to Scott earlier.
"Adelina I-"
"No worries, forgive and forget." I stand up fast enough so he doesn't get the hint for himself to and lean over to his ear. "But you should know, I'm not totally oblivious to the incidents that happened. I know as much as you." With those last words I twindle my fingers up his arm and chuckle before leaving him with both the messy trays.
This is going to get interesting.
As I walked to my locker after last period, I spy Jackson standing right beside it, leaning in a way only he can make it look good. I saunter my way to him, acting surprised by his appearnce.
He clears his throat and sends me a little side smile as he starts to talk. "So about the project. I just remebered I have to put my car to the shop and don't have a ride to your house. Is mine good?" He rested his arm against my locker door, his eyes twinkle.
"Perfect." I say in a low and seductive whisper. His smile turns bigger as he pushes himself off my locker so I can get in. I watch as he leaves the school building not bothering to look back. That's when I notice the piece of paper titling Jackson's name. One of his homework assignments.
My sunglass hang loosly on my face as I make my way to the double doors leading the way to the outside world, knowing eyes are staring at my backside.
I stop dead at my tracks, making other students bump into me.
There he is.
Derek Hale.
The one I want.
The one I need to see.
Slowly I breath in, my nerves suddenly taking over and make my way to Jackson, Scott, and Stilies whom are looking like having a heated discussion with the non ever notrious Derek Hale.
His dark, practically black brown hair, creating a dark haze around his perfect, green-brown eyes. the stumble along his jawline showing his cheekbones.
And that body, hidden underneath the black, tight shirt.
How I miss that body.
"You forgot this." I say nonchantaly, sending heads turning my way at my sudden appearnce at the men's sides. Jackson snaps out of his daze and grabs the paper from my hands, murmuring a thanks and walking away to his Porche. I step closer to Scott, as he puts an arm around me protectively and watch as Derek gives him a look.
"Oh. Derek, meet my girlfriend Adelina-"
"Blaze." He finishes for me. His cold hand meets mine, the familiar feeling sending chils all throughout my body. I slowly slide my sunglasses to the top of my forehead, my blue eyes suddenly glowing as I hear Derek's voice inside my head.
What are you doing here?
Thanks for the nice welcoming, Bubby.
Don't call me that.
Come on. Remember all the fun we had? Remeber the good times?
Why'd you come back?
My answer was cut short as we suddenly hit reality and dropped our hands at our sides.
"So you two know eachother?" Stilies butts in sticking his head out for a response.
"Indirectly." I say quickly before Derek gets a chance to answer.
They don't have to know everything we went through. How he imprinted on me at a young age. How we dreamnt og our lives together for years to come. How a mystery girl came into his life, knocking me out on my ass. How he made me the woman I am today.
How I went from a young and innocent child-
to a Sireen.
