 Prologue

"You'll like it, don't worry."

My mother's words echoed in my ear as I pulled into a parking spot infront of Beacon Hill's High School. Students flooded the place; some excited for the new year, others silently wishing it will be over asap.

Me? I just want to survive it.

I hopped off my motorcylce and started to feel eyes on the back of my head. Slowly I turned around to see students staring at me whilst holding the helement. Have they never seen a girl on a motorcycle?

No, no attention seeking Adelina anymore. It's time to be a normal teenager, even if that means not being able to be like the old me.

The bell rang signalling the beging of hell. I already knew I was going to be late, so I took my time getting to the front office for my schedule. 

That's when I saw him.

My next victim. 

Tall, brown wavy hair, and a nice, fit body. 

He was perfect.

I walked up to him, head high ready to pounce. The stench he gave off was the strongest ever and I knew exactly who and what he was. My hand found it's way to his forearm, poking it in order to grab his attention. He turned around and stared straight into my brown eyes, which slowly started turning blue in the procress.

"I'm sorry, but I was just wondering if you could show me around the school. I'm Adelina Blaze."
