I Wish I Could Be There Now.

I told him that I loved him..

The party had ended a while ago. In the room there were just some familiars of the couple and their best friends. Victoria, James, Joseph and Gabriella  were sitting in the dancefloor with beverages and a tray of hors d'oeuvres eating and chatting. They were having a good time, until James suggested to play truth of dare. 

"James, please, we're grown ups." says Victoria as she shakes her head.

"Okay, because you got mad, you'll be the first one." He chuckles. "Truth or Dare?"

She lets out a deep sight. Gabriella laughs as she cuddles with Joseph, who was also laughing. "Okay, Dare." 

"Kiss..." He says with a wink. "My foot" says as he starts to unlace his shoe.

"WHAT!! Of course not. I won't do that. I choose truth." She glances at James. 

"Chill.Okay, let me think on something." After a moment, he opens his mouth " Who was your first love?" He asks curiously.

Victoria looks away, a hint of pain in her eyes. Gabriella looks at James angrily as Joseph shakes his head. 

"What?" He asks innocently with a confused look on his face. 

Victoria looks at Gabriella and shakes her head. "It's okay." She looks at James "My first love was Hunter Warner. It didn't end well, I poured my feelings way too soon I think." 

James looks at Joseph with wide eyes and then looks at Victoria again. "Do you mean THE Hunter Warner. The CEO of Warner's asociation." 

She shakes her head. "No, that's his dad." 

James shakes her head. "No, I mean a man who is 26 years old, has blond hair and blue eyes, quite tall, I presume." She nods her head. "He was named CEO at the start of this year. He had made good deals with Joseph firm, that's why he was here tonight." He takes his glass and takes a sip.

She stares at Gabriella."Calm down." she says.  Victoria shakes her head. "No, it's okay. I guess." Says as she thinks that her guessing was true. She knew his eyes weren't common as his voice. She needed to tell Gabrielle what happened, but it wasn't the moment.

"Victoria, tell me now what are you thinking." Says Gabriella, pushing her to talk. "We can leave if you want us to." says Joseph and James.

"No, it's okay. I think that I saw him." Says quietly "I felt a stare and I turned around and I saw a pair of blue eyes staring, but I thought I was crazy."

"What will you do when you see him again?" says James as he stares at her.

Victoria shakes her head and raises her shoulders. "I don't know. Am I supposed to do something?"

James nods. "Of couse. You will show him what he missed when he let you go." Victoria looks at him straight in his eyes. "Victoria, you're an amazing girl as I have heard and seen tonight." 

She smiles at him as her cheeks were slightly blushed. "Thank you James. But, don't you guys believe that I will see him everyday. I will try as much as possible to stay away from him."

James puts his arm on her shoulders. "New York looks like a big city dear, but don't you forget that everyone knows everything about us. At least  the East Side society does."
