Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by Sleeping At Last

Third Person POV

-----------------------------------

Loki stormed out of his bedroom. His rage causing intricate blue lines to raise on his skin. His nails grew dark and jagged.

He leaned against the wall taking deep breaths, the lines faded and his eyes returned to their normal emerald green. Loki felt his body shake with emotion.

How could he be so ruthless to the only person who loved him?

Slowly Loki placed his hand on the door, he hesitantly pushed on it, the action allowing the sounds of the room to enter the long hallway.

Sigyn was sitting where Loki had left her minutes before, her head in her hands and her dress stained with salty droplets.

"Sigyn..." Loki's voice was soft and regretful as he slowly walked towards her.

She didn't look up, but wiped the tears from her eyes and smoothed her dress.

"Sigyn love, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have lashed out like that. As your husband I need to show love." He rushed to her side with a burst of emotion. "Oh please forgive this miserable monster."

Sigyn pushed him away with balled fists. She scrambled to get up, the dress whooshing around her.

"I will not allow myself to be hurt again Loki, I forgive you but any more of these games and I can't handle it. It's killing me." She looked up with bitter tears in the corners of her eyes, they sparkled with a dull sadness.

Loki simply nodded his head, words not being able to express anything. How do you say what you're feeling when you're feeling everything and nothing at the same time?

"I shall go." He said quietly, hesitantly, awaiting for her rejection to him spending the night alone.

None came.

There was a piercing silence as cold as ice. It caused Loki's ears to uncomfortably ring.

Finally words came from Sigyn.

"Stay."

It was one word but it was all he needed. His body clung to hers desperately. Loki's thin lips cascaded passionate kisses across Sigyn's skin.

She smiled gently, knowing that he was still apologizing but enjoying it. He really was a good man, just pointed in the wrong direction.

"I'm going to bed now." Sigyn climbed under the sheets pulling them up under her chin.

Loki lay his cool body next to hers, "you're keeping me warm." He said with his mischevious smile.

"You're still a charmer." Sigyn giggled quietly.
