*Song of the chapter Where I come from by Montgomery Gentry*
"what!? Nonoonn I can't accept that, thanks for the offer but I'll be okay" I said "your coming to live with me okay? I already feel like your apart of my family, my two sons are off living on their own so I get lonely" Maura said "what about your husband?" I asked she smiled a sad smile and said "we got divorced" "oh I'm so sorry" I said "it's okay, now let's get going home! My house is empty and I'm dying for some girl time" Maura said with a smile. I know Maura's not my real mom but she sure feels like it, I know she's going to be there for me no matter what. "Alright" I said with a big smile. Maura and I left Starbucks and headed to her house. I got a text from Lauren.
Lauren: Your cars on the way dearie :) how have you been? - Lauren xo
Cassidy: thanks so much hun! Im amazing right now and I think I will be for awhile! How have you been? - Cassidy xx
Lauren: no problem at all! I'm good, I quit my taxi driving job... To many creepy guys getting into my cab! I work at Tim Hortans now :D -Lauren xo
Cassidy: that's good!!! I gotta go though :( moving into Maura's ill tell you about her another day bye babe :* - Cassidy xx
Lauren: alright talk to you later sweet pea ;) <3 - Lauren xo
"your friend?" Maura asked, "Yah, the cab driver I was talked to you about" I replied "ohhhh, she seems like a very nice friend" She said "she is" I said with a smile. Just then we pulled into Maura's drive way. "well this is it" Maura said cheerfully. THIS PLACE IS HUGE. I got out of the car with my bag and purse. "Maura... This place is huge!!!" I said "I know.. I always get lonely" she said sadly "I guess your stuck with me" I said with a laugh. "I'm glad, your already like my daughter" she said with a smile "your already like a mother, I could call you Mama Maura!" I said with a laugh, Maura laughed too. "Well lets get you settled in, we have a busy day tomorrow" Maura said "What are we doing?" I asked "SHOPPING!" Maura screamed like a teenage girl, I laughed so hard there were tears streaming down my face. "Common" Maura grabbed my arm and dragged me into her huge house with me still giggling behind her.
