Chapter 1 - The Special Day
Christina - POV
I wake to the most annoying sound in the world. My alarm. It's at least better then my brother jumping on my bed to wake me up. Today the most happy day of my life, My birthday. I am turning 22 years old and plus, I have a day off from work. I move to see the time on my alarm and gasp at what I see, It's 11:30 am. I hate waking up late and missing breakfast. Like I love breakfast! Anyway I get out of bed and scurry of to my bathroom taking my clothes for my shower. When I make it there I turn to see a mess and when I mean a mess I mean my hair. I tame my black hip long hair and tie it into a regular messy bun then hop into the shower. I get out then brush my teeth and wash my face, then tie my hair into a pony tail. I make my way out of the bathroom and down the stairs for food that I can smell a mile away.
I make my way to the kitchen and sit on the stool and wait then start eating food that's on the table. After a minute or 2 I start to think that's it's ad normally quite. I put my food away and make my way into the living room. When I arrive I hear a loud "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" from my friends and family. I have my hand on my mouth trying not to reveal my gasp of shock.

After a second of processing what just happened i start to squeal and run up to my family that are have open arms to me. Once I see everything I have the biggest smile on my face, just like the Cheshire cat. 'Happy Birthday little sis' my brother says to my in my ear. I look up and have tears in my eyes to see my brother after so many months. I turn to look at my parents and attack them in a big bear hug. 'How did you do all this?' I ask them.
'We planned this since you came back from your road trip around Australia' my father answered.
'Yes we did do this because your our little jewel to be happy and that's you my daughter. We will do anything to make you happy and be there for you no matter what.' My mother replied with tears in her eyes.
'Mum don't cry, it's not like i am leaving you.'
'No the reason I am crying is because you are growing up so fast. It fells like yesterday that you were a little girl playing in the garden with your brother.'
'Well mother you don't have to because I not going to be a little girl forever. Am i now?' Anyway have you seen Skyler I want to see she or do you know where she is?'
'Yes I think she went to see you in the kitchen, but you came out here. Go see where that girl went.' my mother scowls at me while wiping tears away.
I laugh and run of to the kitchen, but during the way I talk to people and they wish me a happy birthday. I make it there and see my best friend drinking water as every normal person will(see my hint of sarcasm i did there). I come up behind her and scare her by saying "BOO" right behind her. She shrieks and jumps away splattering water all over me. She turns to see me, then starts to squeal in delight at the sight of me. She runs up to me, hug me then screams 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' in my ear. I jump away and hold my ear and scream 'WAS THAT NECESSARY' to her. She looks at me in amazement then says 'that was very necessary, and anyway your mine for tonight so that means we are going to go partying at a club and have the night of your life cause it's your birthday. But for now we are going to hang out with friends and family then cut the cake. Then we are off to get ready for our small party. OK' She ask me like a little kid.
I respond with a 'yes mother'.
'Please give me strength god' I say in my head
