[HAYOUNG'S POV]
"What was that?" I whispered to myself after running away from THE guy.
My heart can't stop beating fast, why is that?
"Oh please calm, please calm down." I placed my hand on my chest, patting it carefully.
After running away, I didn't notice where I was going, so I looked around and I found myself standing in an unfamiliar place.
"Yo! Look who we have here." I heard someone behind my back whistled to me.
"Bro, it's a girl in a uniform." They all walked closer and started laughing.
I took a step back while holding firmly onto my bag.
I shouldn't have run away from that Stephen guy. You're so dumb, Hayzel!
"Hey! What are you doing huh? Daydreaming? Pssh. Come on." The guy who looked like a panda at me.
"You bastards can't get enough, huh?" A voice echoed from a dark area near us. And someone is clearly in there, hidden.
"Boss, I think it's the Shadow." I heard one of them in a frightened voice.
"Who the hell cares? I'm gonna beat this loser's ass." He glared at the dark area.
Just then, my phone vibrated from my pocket. I took it out carefully, not wanting to be caught.
A message popped on my screen.
"Hey. It's me Stephen, when I get out of the shade, you should start running away."
So, he's the one in there?!
Like how did he even texted me in the dark? A light must've shown up earlier.
"I'll count to three. Then you all should start running! 1!"
"B-boss, what are we going to do?"
"2!"
"Don't be scared, idiots!"
I stood still in my place, not moving an inch.
"Almost to three!" -Stephen
"Bosss!"
I laughed secretly at their faces. Including how Stephen countdown.
"Three."
"Oh, shoot!" They all scampered away like mice being chased by a cat which I found it funny.
"Those idiots." Stephen stepped out of the dark area, revealing his clear face.
"Are you okay?" He walked towards me with a smile on his face. I can't stand him besides that his attractive, I can't stand him because of what happened earlier.
"Earth to Hayzel." He clapped his hands near my face.
"Hmm? O-oh. I'm f-fine.." I bowed my head to prevent him from seeing my red face, this is so embarassing.
He chuckled a bit and lifted my face.
"Cute as ever." And added a wink, which made my face even redder.
"Y-yeah. I gotta go." I bowed to him before walking away. But as soon as I looked back, he is still standing there, smiling at me.
"Take care. I'll be watching you!" He shouted to me.
Good thing, I know this place headed to my house.
[STEPHEN'S POV]
Good thing, she didn't know those are my friends.
"Hey Stephen!" Joon shouted to call my attention. Yeah, he's the one they call the 'boss' earlier.
"Is she gone?" Erik, out of curiousity, asked me.
"Yeah bro. Thanks." I fist-bumped them all.
"How good was my acting, huh?" Blake jumped in.
"Yeah pretty bad."
"What?! I WAS DOING MY BEST!" He yelled before my ear.
"Quit yelling Blake!" Kris slapped him in the forehead.
"That was HURTFUL!" -Blake
"You're welcome." Kris patted me in the back.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" -Blake
"Girls stop it." - Joon
"Alright guys, thanks for the help and yeah, she bought your acting skills Blake, don't worry brother." I smiled at them.
"HA! I told you." Blake pointed at Kris.
"Whatever. What are you going to do next?" -Kris
"Yeah. What are you going to do?" -Erik
"Something special." I smirked at them. Just imagining it makes me feel high.
"We should probably go, Stephen. We are in the Deer's territory." -Joon
"Who cares about that animal?"
"Joon is scared, that's why." -Blake
"Shut up Blake." Joon rolled his eyes before him.
But still, I need to protect her no matter what. Hayzel, I'll do anything.
