Chapter 8 : A step towards the future

Yahiko: Hime-san! Is this edible?

I walked right up to Yahiko and...knocked him on the head. Konan and Nagato who were nearby just chuckled softly at the scene.

Yahiko: But why did you hit me? Because I got the wrong thing?

Hime: You think I hit you because you got the wrong herb?

Konan: I think it's pretty obvious why she hit you! You are sensitive to what Hime-san calls poison Ivy! What if you come across it again by mistake?

Yahiko: A-Ah...sorry...but I want to help in the search!

Hime: Well in that case wear something that covers your body - from your legs to your neck! That way you can avoid physical contact with it. Avoid going near burning things altogether. If you take these precautions, you should be fine-

Yahiko: So cool! You know so much! How do you know so much of practical knowledge? I thought you were a pampered princess who stayed in the palace all the time!

Hime: Um...I was always on the lookout for simple remedies so that people could be cured even a poor country like ours. We got back to collecting herbs. You see, after Yahiko fell sick so unexpectedly, they decided that collecting medicinal herbs was essential so that they weren't helpless when they are unwell.

Luckily since I was born with a 20 yr old girl's mind, I had begun to study as much about this world as I could. Of course that stopped after I began to puppet rule the country but...I did amass a wide range of knowledge in the meantime.

Yahiko: Wow...Hime-san dream is so huge! But not as huge as mine!

Hime: Hm? What is your dream?

Yahiko: World domination!

Nagato: Why world domination?

Yahiko: If I can conquer the world, then I won't have to suffer ever again!

Konan: But then, won't others want the same and fight you to gain world domination?

Yahiko: You didn't have to ridicule my dream so soon!

Nagato: She's just being realistic...

Yahiko: But if you control the world, you can do whatever you want!

Nagato: That's just like being god...I wonder if you can stop the fighting too...
