Forgotten Love

Chapter 6

“Son!”

I quickly look around to find where could that familiar voice be.

“Here, dear.” Oh. There’s my umma with Cesar-appa, my stepdad.

She and Cesar are waving happily and I waved back.

“Umma! Appa!” I shouted. I run towards them and hugged my umma then appa.

“Na miss kita, anak ah.”Appa said. I understand it a bit. He said that he miss me.

I smiled and said, “I miss you too, appa.”

“Son, are you tired with the flight?”-umma

“A bit. But it’s okay. Let’s go to the mall and eat together.”I suggested.

“Huwag na, anak. Nagluto ako sa bahay ng paborito mong adobong manok.” Appa said. I looked at him with a puzzled face. The only word that I understand is ‘adobong manok’. It’s my favorite Filipino dish.

“He said that, we can just eat at our house because your appa cooked ‘adobong manong’, your favorite.” Umma translated.

Appa can speak Korean but his accent is bad so he just speak tagalog. Actually, I can speak Tagalo a bit but my accent is bad too. I knew the words ‘Mahal kita’ which means I love you and ‘Magandang araw’ which means Good morning. :D

“Oh! You really are the best, appa.”

He just laughed.

“So. Let’s go?”-umma

“Let’s go!” I said excitedly.

_ONE WEEK_

“I’m doing fine here, sweetie. And you?” I am currently on the phone now and I’m talking with my Jongin. :)

“I’m good but I miss you already, babe.” He answered.

I smiled and blushed. *^.^*

“I know, sweetie. But only one week’s left and will be in each other’s arms again.”

“Yeah. I know. Just send my regards to Aunt Kyumi and Uncle Cesar.”

“Alright. Mine too, to the other members.”

“Yes, babe. I love you.”

“I love you too. Bye.”

“Bye.” And we both hang up the phone.

I heaved a sigh. I miss him but I’ll spend my entire vacation with my umma so she will be happy. :D
