I know Samantha has been getting a lot of questions why she doesn't update anymore and Samantha wasn't the kinds of person to keep people guessing.
I'm Samantha's best friend and co-author of some of the stories on here.
But this past Friday, Samantha and her twin brother Collin were on their way home from our schools football game, when a drunk driver hit them head on going around 70 miles per hour. Collin died instantly and Samantha made it to the hospital and waited for her father,boyfriend, and some other family and friends before her heart finally stopped beating.
It brings deep sadness to me and the rest of the people in town.
Here I'm posting what was in our school newspaper about the twins. We learned out of this horrific event to live life to the fullest and not take anything for granted. We want to honor and celebrate the twins life, not mourn over it.
Today it saddens us to announce that Our school has experienced a lost of our own. On Friday night, Samantha and Collin were driving home from a football game, when they were hit head on from a drunk driver.
Collin was a promising student-athlete. He played a sport every season and developed strong bonds to his coaches and teammates. He also alway maintained a 4.0 gpa throughout his whole career in high school. He was well liked by everyone and his teachers. His friends described him as a confident person who could make everyone comfortable. He will be deeply missed by his girlfriend Paige, and his best friends PJ and Jackson.
Samantha was a joy in and outside of the classroom she always wore a smile and her eyes could light up a room. She was 4.0 student throughout high school and loved the challenges of her classes. She played basketball and volleyball and was deeply passionate about both.
Our twins will be missed. Let's celebrate their 16 years on this planet, not mourn it. They may of been taken too soon but they are in a place in heart we will never forget.
