Chapter 4: Burial

When I got to the house, I went straight to my room because I was tired. Today was a tiring day for me. My face hit the pillow and I gave out a huge, tired sigh.

"Wake up Nathan!" My sister's voice rang in my ear. I sat up and looked at her.

"What now, can't you see I'm trying to get a nap?" She smiled softly and sat next to me on the bed.

"We're going to Malcolm's burial." I totally forgot about that, I was tired but I pushed myself off the bed and went to my bathroom. I heard my room door close and I guess Nora left.

I opened the tap water and sprayed myself with water. The coldness touched my skin and it felt good. I looked at my reflection on my mirror and wiped my face with a towel. I stepped out of the bathroom and went out of my room, I passed Nora's room and heard silent grunting, I peeked inside and saw the girl with what looked like eyeliner, stuck in her body.

"Nora or Mary Louise." I asked her as I stepped into the room.

"Mary Louise." She replied.

"You're lucky, she's the nice one." I went to grab a book so that she can stand on it. I may laugh at her but sometimes I'm nice.

"Not when you make fun of Nora."

"You didn't?" I said as I got the book and walked to her.

"I couldn't help it, the dress Nora was wearing." I put the book under her feet and she stood on it and sighed.

"The one with the stupid hat?" I asked and she nodded.

"You shouldn't have said anything, it would have been funny." I smiled.

"Yeah well, she is torturing me."

"Maybe I can help with that." She had a confused look on her face.

'Phesmatos extandos lomiano' I stopped chanting after I was done with the spell.

"Now they can't touch you." I said and she smiled, if she knew that I did that spell so that she couldn't be saved.

I heard footsteps and I turned around to see Mary Louise.

"What are you doing her?" She asked.

"I just came to look at the victim." I walked out of the room and I went to my room to prepare. I got myself ready and went to the living room to find everyone there, ready to go. They saw me and we went to our destination but Lilly said she wanted to talk to Lorenzo first. I shrugged and headed to my car, but I decided against. I wanted all of us to walk there and so we did, and since Lilly is a vampire, she vamp sped to us and we where at the cemetery in no time.

"My children, take Elena's coffin and dump it in the bottom of the ocean, that's where she will be living for the 60 years of her life." The others went to the coffin place, and I stayed behind because I am not a siphoner. After that we went to bury Malcolm. As were burying Malcolm I saw one of the Salvatore head to were Elena's coffin was supposed to be. I called Lilly and I pointed to the Salvatore. She went over to him.

"What do you think she will say to him?" I asked them and they shrugged.

We waited for Lilly to come back and she did, followed by Damon Salvatore. She went on a speech about how Malcolm was important to us.

"Malcolm was special to me, to all of us. He was the one who helped me through when I turned into a vampire, even though I'm not a heretic, I was still close to him." The others looked at me and I knew why. It was the through but not being a heretic was a lie and I knew why but I will be explaining that once we get home. There others gave their reasons why Malcolm was special to them.

"Okay, what do you want from me?" Damon asked clearly annoyed by this.

"We want you to go away from Mystic Falls as far as possible." Lily said as she gave a straight face. She didn't let him reaping because she turned around and left, followed by us.

"Okay, what's up with you not being a heretic?" My sister asked and I knew the question would come. I looked at them.

"Well, the Salvatore's don't know that I'm a heretic. That could be an advantage to us, so I didn't want them to know, yet." They nodded and I smiled to myself. Those Salvatore's won't know what hit them once I reveal that I'm also a heretic. They know me as this vampire that befriended them in the 20th century.

Sorry for the shortness of this chapter.
