Chapter 7: They're Here

I was pacing in my room, trying to find out who would want to work with the Salvatore's but I couldn't think of anyone.

Hearing a knock on the door I opened it and let my sister in.

"Are you still thinking about it?" I nodded and she sat down on my bed.

"I know that I have been asking this a lot lately but who would work with the them?. She patted the side of the bed, signaling that I should sit down next to her.

"What don't we just get out of town with Mary Louise and Valerie?" She requested.

"Where would we go?" I questioned.

"I don't know, we could just look around." She suggested. Maybe I needed to get out of this town, I could blow off some steam.

Sighing, I nodded and her face lit up.

"I'll get Mary Louise and Valerie." She skipped out of the room. I got up I went to my mirror and fixed my hair and looked down at my neck chain, softly smiling to myself I went out of the room and headed to the kitchen to get something to eat. I grabbed some potato chips and dug in.

Hearing footsteps, I looked up to see the three girls coming in the room and I smiled and waved.

"Are you ready?" Nora asked me and I nodded and went to the bin to throw out the bag.

I was heading to my car but I saw a second car which looked more of a family car than mine.

"Who's car is this?" I looked at them and Valerie raised her hand.

"I got it today."

"We are going with this car?" They nodded. I didn't care as long as we are driving in a car.

I got on the drivers seat and the others got in. I drove out.

"So what should we do?." I asked.

"We could get out of town, find a place to just enjoy the beautiful sunset and after that maybe we could go get something to eat"? All of us looked at Nora surprised.

"Did you just say that or are you being possessed?" Mary Louise said and I chuckled.

"Just because I don't say these things a lot doesn't mean I can't." I continued driving and after that, the was silence.

As we were about to cross the border sign, Mary Louise gave out a sickening scream.

"STOP!" She screamed out and I hit the breaks.

"What?" I asked but before she can reply, I saw why she yelled stop. There were two men standing in front of the car. One was wearing what I assume is an expensive suit and the other was just wearing normal clothes.

"Vampires." I whispered.

"Do you think so?" Asked Valarie.

"Would any human want to get hit by a car?" I decided to reverse but I looked behind and saw the one and only Salvatore brothers.

"Let's just get out of the car, I'm sure they want to talk or attack us." The others nodded and we got out of the car and found that the were also some people who were at the side of the car. One a black male and the other a female.

"Um… sorry but you're on the road." I spoke after a long silence between us.

"Are you trying to skip town?" Damon walked up to the vampires with a smirk on his face, he was followed by his brother and the other two people.

"No, we were just heading out. But I see that you knew that you couldn't defeat us by yourself and decided to get some help." I gestured to the people around him.
