A: N// Hello everyone! I'm a new member to the wattpad society and I just thought maybe I should start writing a story on here just for the fun of it. I hope you guys like it and please give me feed back if you don't mind. Enjoy!!
Picture of Sam to the top!
"Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!"
I groaned and rolled over on my bed and onto my face.
"Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!"
Why the hell is my alarm clock going off on a Saturday morning?! I lazily swung my hand and slapped my alarm clock.
The beeping continued.
Oh my god!
I grumpily sat up on my bed and rubbed my sleepy eyes while I yawned. My hands then wavered over my bedside table to find my glasses. When my hands finally touched the frame of the glasses, it fell.
Clump!
Seriously?!
I am as blind as a bat without my glasses. Without my glasses, my vision is blurry beyond the telling. I sighed and tried getting up from my bed. But obviously since I'm incredibly clumsy with orwithout my glasses, I got tangled in my sheets and fell right onto my back. As soon as my back hit the floor, the hard impact quickly knocked the oxygen out of my lungs causing me to hold my chest and cough like crazy. I lifted my legs dramatically as the coughing fit continued.
"Sam, are you alright?" I heard the voice of my mother asked as she knocked on my door.
"Yeah!-cough, cough. I'm alright!"
"Are you sure?"
I took deep breaths to fill my lungs with some oxygen before clearing my throat.
"Yes mom. I'm sure."
"Are you sure you're sure? I could've sworn I heard you coughing. Are you catching a cold?"
I rolled my eyes and tapped around for my glasses. Luckily I landed right next to my glasses so it wasn't that hard to find. I quickly slipped them on and smiled in content when my vision became much clearer. I got up from the white carpet of my room and dragged myself over to my door and swung it open. My mom was behind the door with a very worried look on her face.
I smiled at that. It warms my heart that she cares about me so much.
"Mom I'm fine. I just fell off of my bed and the floor literally slapped the air out of my lungs. No biggie." I stated like it was no big deal and waved my hands dismissively.
My mom let out a sigh of relief before cupping my cheeks.
"You're okay now right?"
"Yes mother, for the billionth time. I. Am. Fine."
My mother smiled before releasing my face from her palms.
"Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!"
My head quickly whipped around to face the window by the sound of the annoying noise. I swear if that beeping was a person, it would've been bitch slapped for waking me up from my weekend slumber. I swear I'm occasionally cool and collected but when it comes to my sleep and food I show mercy to no one.
No one.
"Mom what's that noise?" I asked as I turned around to look at my mom. My mom and I looked almost exactly the same. I got most of my facial features from her. From my round bright eyes, small button nose, slightly high cheek bones and a slightly defined jaw line. We were both almost the same height, me being an inch or two taller than her and we also had the same brunette hair. The only difference was the color of our eyes. I got my green eyes from my dad.
