Chapter 2- Secret?

Short, but I wanted to update, but I hope you still enjoy it :)

It's just a filler

Enjoy!

"You did what?!" my mother yelled, exasperated.

I chuckled nervously and pushed my black framed glasses up the bridge of my nose.

"In my defense, he was a huge asshole." I stated.

"Language!" my mother yelled and placed her hands on her hips.

"Asshole! Asshole! Asshole!" Kevin chirped as he walked in circles around my mom and me. I swear this kid comes out of nowhere.

"Kevin, stop saying asshole!" my mother yelled at Kevin.

"Maria, don't say asshole in front of Kevin!" my dad shouted from the living room

"Why's everyone yelling asshole?!" Christopher asked as he lazily walked down the stair case.

"Asshole! Asshole! Asshole!" Kevin continued.

"Asshole." I muttered, just for the fun of it since everyone was saying it.

"Kevin, say asshole one more time and you're grounded. Sam, stop saying obscene language in front of your brother!" My mom stated, frustrated.

"Everyone, stop saying asshole!" My dad's voice boomed from the living room once again.

The house then went silent.

If I was a completely different person who weren't a member of this family and was watching this scene unfold before me I would've died of laughter I swear.

"Asshole." Christopher said, breaking the silence as he emerged into the kitchen.

"Chris..." My mom muttered in a warning tone, causing Chris to slowly back away from mother. Mom can be scary when she wants to be.

Thankfully, Kevin stopped saying asshole and was now sitting on the bar stool, innocently swinging his legs back and forth.

Well...All of that was unexpected.

"Now, please elaborate on why you said he's an a-" My mom quickly stopped herself before slowly turning her head to look at Kevin who was still sitting on the stool with a cheeky grin directed towards us.

"Kevin, go meet you father." My mother muttered and nodded her head towards the living room.

"Okay." He agreed and jumped off of the stool and was out the kitchen in a few seconds.

"Now...Why did you call him an asshole?" My mom asked with a frustrated sigh.

"Well, he basically told me to shove your cookies up my ass and obviously I got offended because he didn't appreciate the hard work, sweat and sleepless nights it took from you to make those once in a lifetime cookies. He also slammed the door in my face." I muttered, exaggerating my first point.

My mother narrowed her eyes at me.

"Okay yes he was rude for telling you to shove the cookies up your ass-"

"Ass! Ass! Ass!"

"Christian, take Kevin outside now please!" My mother ordered to my dad by the sound of Kevin's voice saying 'ass'. I seriously need to stop saying foul language around the house. But in my defense I don't even know that Kevin's around when I say them. The kid literally pops up out of nowhere as soon as I say bad words. Like a Jack-in-the-box or something.
