"Allie, wake up!" Andrew, my 7-year-old brother shouts, jumping up and down on the bed. I groaned. "Why?" "You are 17 today! Happy birthday!" I smile up at Andrew and grab his leg. He falls on top of me and we start laughing. "Thanks Andy." I say, hugging him tightly, and peck his cheek. "Ewe, blah! Gross, Allie!" He struggles out of my grip with a disgusted look on his face. I can't help it. I laugh hysterically and Andrew glares at me. "It's not funny, Allie!Girls have cooties." I stare at him mischievously. "Yes, we do. So get out before I give you some!" I say as I make kissy faces. Andrew runs out of the room in a blur. I chuckle to myself and check my phone, and notice I have a text message from Hannah.
Bestie4life: Hey Allie, happy Birthday! Omg u r 17! Woot woot, turn down 4 what!!!! And you have moved back to Minnesota from North Carolina!
Gummybear: Hey, Hannah! Thx so much! Wyd?
Bestie4life: Nun. We should go to the Wing Company!
Gummybear: Yassss! How about 2:30?
Bestie4life: Okay! Oh, and btw, Jay has to come :{
Gummybear: Y? And he could at least say happy b-day to me :(
Bestie4life: Ik, ik! And right now he is sleeping and snoring like a hog.
