"Hurry up Jay! God, you're slower in the bathroom than a woman! But then again, I guess it's because we are going to hang out with Allie." I opened the door and see a smirk plastered onto Hannah's face. I shake my head. "Nope. Why would I dress all up for a girl we have not seen in 3 years? She just moved back a week ago. I am only going because it's her b-day and I know it would make her happy if both of her friends came." Hannah dabbed her eyes. "You are so sweet, you literally almost made me cry. You really do have a heart." I roll my eyes and brush past her, heading up the stairs. "Whatever, just hurry up. It's almost 2 o'clock. Not exactly the day to be late. Not seeing Allie for 3 years, and it's her birthday." "Just please keep your affection for her a secret please. She probably is disgusted by it." I huff angrily and slam my door. I walk to my closet and find a white, button-down shirt, along with some jeans. I open my door and hear Mom and Dad, having another of their arguments. "Stay home, Daniel. You're always on one of your trips!" "It's for money Lily! Unless you'd prefer being homeless?" His voice was edgy. "Fine! Get out of my house!" A door slammed and heard his mom sigh, and then another door shut. Jackson continued his way down the stairs and looked up at the huge grandfather clock that his great-great grandfather gave to his Mom. It was 2:18. "Hurry up Hannah! We can't leave Ali hanging!" I yell up toward her room. "Good god! Will you calm down? You're more excited than I am." With that, Hannah stepped into the hallway with a pink dress with white trimmed lace. I scowl and Hannah smiles widely. "Lets go!" She says and practically runs to the silver Nissan. I roll my eyes and get into the driver's seat. I turn on the radio. Wildest Dreams, Han's favourite song, comes on and she starts to sing. "Say you'll remember me, standing in a white dress, staring the sunset! Baby! Red lips and rosy cheeks.." BRRRING! BRRRING! Hannah's phone rings. Hannah sighs and answers. "Hello? Oi, hey Allie! Yea. Uh-huh, sure. Yep. Uh....maybe..No, no, definitely not! Yeah, sure okay. Okay! I'll tell him. Uh-huh. Yea, bye! See ya in a few!" She hangs up the phone and looks at me. "That was Allie." "Nah shit, Sherlock. What did she say?" I snap at Hannah, who glares at me. "Well, I was gonna tell you, but you're being a jerk." "Please tell me!" I say, rather desperately. "Okay, okay. Fine, I'll tell you drama queen." She looks me straight in the eye and says "She loves you."
