Sneaking out in his cream colored sweatshirt,he walked crushing the autumn leaves spread on his back yard.He could still hear the noises from his parent's room. They are still back to square one.He heaved a sigh.
Why am i so fucked up.He remembered the line he read somewhere.Half of his genes fighting with his other half.Just like his parents.Resting himself on the bench,he glanced up to see a stary night without moon.So like his life !!
Dark and mysty!!
Opening the pages of the maths text,he indulged himself in problems that was not supposed for school level. As always complex things intrigued him."Randhir....you are still awake"he heard a meek voice of a girl.
"I am not interested in your stupid talks sanyukta"he mumbled never shifting his eyes from the book. She was that annoying neighbor of his.
"That's rude"she said as he looked at her baby blue flats from the corner of his eyes.He remained silent, his pen working on the paper.
"Randhir...you know i am the topper in my class"she proudly smiled sitting beside him."I guess your class is filled with bimbos like you"he smirked erasing the smile of her face.
"Huh"she pouted grabbing the text back from him.He gave her a bewildered expression.Girls are just !! He rolled his eyes watching her run those tiny eyes of her through the problem.
"Sanyukta!!! Just forget abt solving it"he twisted his lips, cocking his head sideways amused at the manner she held the pen so close to her lips."As if her lips are gonna magically weave the answer"he mentally chuckled.
"Randhir singh shekhawat, done"she flashed her toothy grin thrusting the note back to his lap."WHAT"he gasped looking at the solved problem of calculus.
"How"he scratched his nape for an answer.
"This"she gave him some piece of withered paper. His eyes gleamed at that revelation. It was the notes he used to throw away every night. That means ,she used to watch him everynight. He was about to open his mouth, when she squeezed his cold hand with her warm fingers.
"I dont knw but watching you everyday...oops everynight gave me an unknown happiness"she beamed resting her head on his shoulder."You do miss your mom and dad na sanyukta" he hushed, his lips touching her hair.Sanyukta had lost her parents long back.
"Uhmm...they are up there..smiling at me"she giggled glancing up the sky.The shriek voice of breaking something broke their trance.
His parents!!!
They just broke another thing. Can't they just stop fighting.
He breathed deeply separating their frames."I should go now"he stood up not looking at her.
"Oh !!"she played with her finger staring at him.
"Randhir....things will be ok"she whispered meeting his level. His lips split into a boyish grin with her words."Good night sanyukta" he pressed his lips on to top of her head, closing his eyes,he somehow got detached from his miseries.
