Sandhir drabble 3

The city of Roorkee was blessed with rain after the effing hot summer.Randhir glanced the sky with dark clouds getting ready for another attack of rain through his non barred window.

The smell of the wet earth filled him with his childhood memories. The way he used to make play full time football in the muddy pools with Karan, his lost buddy.Everyone just seemed to leave him midway. His mother, karan, vardhan sir,and sanyukta. He sighed as his fingers unknowingly draw Sandhir on the window pane.

"Randhir"parth called his confusing friend who was partially wet in the rain.

"Uh..."his stony grey eyes shifted towards the pile of bedsheets covered by Parth Kashyap.

"What are you staring at Randhir"parth asked in his sleepy voice.

"I dont know"he mumbled absent mindely walking out of the room.

"Strange"Parth mumbled drifting off to sleep in the cold weather.

Most of the students were in their room as the rain relaxed their nerves in the powerless FITE.Randhir wandered along the empty dark corridor glancing everywhere as if expecting someone. His search got completed as he saw that someone sitting near the shelter of the openground area blissfully enjoying rain.

She was sitting there crosslegged scribbling something on her book, with her hair left open to play with the blowing wind.

Her cheeks were forming those beautiful crimson colour due to the cold atmosphere.Randhir watched her intently as the rain drops fell over her lightly making her lustrous tresses getting wet.

Magnetically pulled towards the doe shaped eyes,he found himself standing beside her.He tried to peep and to see what is she upto, only to get caught.

"Randhir...dont follow me everywhere"she accused clutching the book to her heart making the paper go damp in the process due to her wet clothes.

"Dream on sanyukta..."he smirked sitting on the floor near her."as if"she twisted her nose."Sanyukta...anyway what were you doing"Randhir curiosity striked.

"Why should I tell you"she snapped back.

"Dont fight "he frowned.

"But I love fighting with you"she smiled listening to the rain drops. The rain cooled her broken heart.

"We do fight a lot"he said realising.

"From the beginning"she completed."

Vardhan sir was right about us...spark is bound to form when we two collide"he said glancing up at the lightening forming up in the sky.Sanyukta nodded her head lifting her head to look at the sky when Randhir kept his hands on her eyes blinding them. She shuddered as thunder followed the lightening.

"Randhir.. "she questioned as he removed his hands."Its not good for your eyes to look straight at them"he answered her unasked query.

Her fingers lingered over his cold hands drawing patterns on his hands tickling him in the process.

"Sanyukta stop it"he managed to mumble controlling his giggles.

"Randhir singh shekhawat, the tough man...common you can bear some more"she smirked tickling him more.He caught her hands in a swift motion, caging her in his strong arms"Dont mess with me"he said smiling at her frown.

"I know...you love to"he leaned in whispering over her ears brushing his lips with her earlobes sending current through her veins. As he pulled back, the smouldering of her doe eyes were just enough to vapourise his miseries.

"Randhir...will you help me with this"she asked bringing him out of the trance. He widened his stony grey eyes as Sanyukta Agarwal asked him for help.

She moved the wet paper towards him"Its a problem that I found among Vardhan sir things...and I badly need to solve this"she said as rain shifted in her eyes.

"I know you were dumbhead...but this time i'll help you out"he sounded typical Randhir Shekhawat who very well knows to poke the anger bone of Sanyukta Agarwal.

"You are dumbhead shekhawat...come lets take this as a challenge"she declared giving him an extra pen.

"Ok"he chipped as his heart did somer saults gazing her cute little nose red in anger. She made him forget the world.

Scooped him out of his dark world. She was his superman to pull him out of his agonies.A calm smile was plastered on his face as he witnessed the sunlight after the heavy rain marking the amber sky with rainbow. He found solace in his trouble magnet, while she returned to her home resting her head on his shoulder.
