Bad day

So I turned on my my phone and saw lots of notification, I clicked on Michael's name, since I was too curious.

Micheal: Heyy Lorie
So yeah I went to Emily house on Friday , she was not mad at me, and I'll tell u everything in school. She said that she'll come to school tomorrow.

Lorie: oh ok. Is she alright? even though me and her are not that close doesn't mean I can't be care bout her.

Michael: true u two are not really friend but you guys say hi at least right?

Lorie: yes  we do, when we are in our mood and we talk sometimes.

Micheal: alright, I'll see u tmrrw in school.
Lorie: ok, see u too gn.

Today is Monday everyone hates it and they have bad mood. I woke up early and for the first time I was ready before Melissa calls me, cuz she always called and tell me I better be ready when she comes. I waited and waited never received a call or heard her car through my Windows  parking aside of my house.

I was suprised cuz she always come to my house we eat breakfast together and go to school. She be like "I'm not staying  more than five minutes. I'm just picking you up then leave" but of course she wouldn't go right away. She loves  my mom breakfast, "her waffles or baked french toast with strawberries" whatever my mom made for breakfast she would sit and eat even though we would be late.

I have a bad feeling, I called and left messages she didn't pick up the phone  or call back, that was bad she's not like that.
I didn't eat breakfast due to not hearing anything bout my bestfriend, I just left it on the table, my mom noticed my reactions right away, she knows me well enough and she knows something is not right. "Is everything alright"?  She asked, no mom don't you see Melissa didn't come? I replied back, and I sort of  have a bad feeling. Yeah "I have noticed that something was missing or not fully right, it's Melisa she's not here," have u tried to call her? Asked my mom. Yes I called her twice she didn't pick up and I left messages " I answered ".

I left for school, I just waved my hand say bye at my mom since I wasn't happy, I usually kissed and she didn't care as long I said bye. My brother offered me a ride to school, I told him I'm walking instead and thanks for the offered and I wanted to be by myself, some space.

I was walking into the parking lot to get in to the school and I saw Ray the school main player in the school and the most popular guy that every girls talking about, how sexy "he is"  outside the park in lot with his girlfriend Jasmine, she never liked me and me neither,  and obviously doing nasty stuff, when he spot me coming to their way he faced me and being more exaggerated "nigga do I care what ur doing?" and do you think I I like u or something, "get a freaking room". I walked passed by without saying nothing or even look over at them, like nothing was happening. As soon as I step into the school building, making my way to my locker  Christi and Jasmine are the two queen bs in our school think they're all that, and always want to blow something up or embarrassed students in front of whole school that's there main job and be the drama whore everything bout them, Christi  came from no where  with her two cheerleaders friend Nancy and Rachel, behind her walking towards me " who do we have here" it looks like somebody not feeling herself and no friends with her  "wow".  what of friends does she have?" She turned to her friends and the girls nodded in response, I  was really mad so i walked up to her like I'm more than one person,  I clenched my fists and grinding my teeth, "don't you dare talk bout my friends like that" because they are  not with me right now  doesn't mean they are not my friends or not a good friends either. I saw someone was coming in the corner of my eyes, couldn't know who was it, the person stood right next to me "Emily"! "I overheard this conversation and heard you said that she does not have friend see I'm right next to her and on  her side do you what that means" said Emily "I guess you don't know lemme explain no second thought lemme show you I give y"all three to get ur faces out and walk off," she started to count

Before she even got to three Chriti and her back up girls took a last glanced at and looked at us in disgust walk way saying "I don't have time for these non-sense even though she "started it", Emily and I just stand there waited till we couldn't see them anymore. When I turned around   I saw we had audience, "Mhmm hello the scene is over not get back to your thing and mind your business." Of course I would hear murmuring, talking, pointing and gossiping, but I ignored all of them instead turned at Emily  Heyy thanks for having my back right there with a smile on my face, "no prob I think u would've done the same wouldn't u? Answered Emily
"I was thinking maybe we can hang out and get to know each other more u seem a good friend " said Emily.
Sure that Will be cool and we'll talk more  and I'm pretty sure Micheal will like that. "I'll see u later", Ight see u too"  I replied.

Since my day already starting bad not seeing Melissa and heard nothing  from and the fight with Christi, I was suprised Emily was on my side, cuz we don't talk a lot and she actually used to hang with Christi, I didn't  pointed any of that to her, the thing is she had my back right there

When I walk to class after two minutes late it was art everyone stared at me like I was new, and like I had the "spotlight" and some  turned over to their friends explaining what had happened to me earlier. 

I was focusing more on my friends in the back of the class seem looking that interested them didn't even noticed I was in the classroom and been teased. I sat on my seat next to Johny "he's a nice and good looking guy" but I'm not into him. We talked in class not too much, when I need help, "he helped me with my drawing, he doesn't seem to have a problem with me beside my friends like some the students.

Ms Tanya let us work on our project, while I was taking my paper  out from my back pack my bag when Aurora and Miguel say "hi" to me, I said hi back. They asked if I'm ok? I nodded in response  it just weird that Melissa didn't picked me up today " she always picked me up and we go to school together" I've been calling her and left messages she hasn't returned any which make me panicked. "I saw Melissa on Saturday going to McDonald's with her brother"said Miguel.

"I haven't texted her or see her since Friday in the afternoon " answered Aurora. We were gonna asked.
I'm going to her house right after the bell ring. Do you guys wanna come? I asked them
"Alright I'll go with you" answered Miguel
"I have to help my mom with something, so text and let me know if she ok" said Aurora.

Before the bell ring I told Miguel to meet at the back exit door after school so we can go.
I went to my next class global,  we had a subtitute and didn't have work to do. Instead of sit there doing nothing I took my out and listened to music and check what's up for today on facebook. Rachel is in this class but she's not the same person when  she's with Christi, she's herself now. She seems nice except when she has to act like "diva" with her friends.

In the lunchroom I joined Micheal at the table near Jasmine just give a dirty looked, I slide next to Michael

"Heyy Lorie what's up"
Lorie: nun just having a bad day"
Micheal": yea I get it it's Monday everybody hates it,  and I told I was gonna explain what happened to Emily right?"
Lorie: I forgot bout that, what happened.
Micheal:Emily's dad left the house  three weeks ago, she thought he was coming but nah he didn't and she doesn't have a great relationship with her mother, she loves her father, that's why she hadn't come to school till today".
I saw her this morning I was suprised she came back to school and had my back cuz u know the drama queen Christi was blabbing as always.
Are you sure you're alright? Asked Micheal
Lorie: I'm fine.

Emily walked to our table and say hi to me.
Micheal seems suprised cuz she never hang with us but with Jasmine. "Yeah i told Lorie I'm going to hang with y'all now" explained Emily.
"Welcome to our gang teased Micheal"
I told Emily I know and sorry bout what happened to her and she doesn't have to call Micheal big mouth I understand it's personal but since we are gonna be friends now it's not wrong if I know she agreed with she seems ok with it too. We talked for the rest of the period our plans for vacation. And I told them I'm going to Melissa house so we won't walk together to go home.

I had one more class left before school over, at the end Miguel Meet me where exactly I told him and we went out and walked to the bus stop the bus came after 10 minutes I was getting tired and angry, we got on the bus to Melissa house.
