People want one thing in life.

Happiness.

Its kind of like our purpose to have in life. The whole reason we fight for what we want.

Sometimes it's handed to us and other times we have to fight for it.

Concluding to the rich and the poor. There's a bunch of stereotypes for them. The rich are ungrateful pricks who think everyone will praise in their presence. And the poor, who never take things for granted.

People struggle to find an inch of hope to continue their lives. Because they need happiness. They want it. We crave it.

And sometimes we crave it so much we go out of our way to get it.

In that case, that was Jordan's situation.

She craved for someone to care for her. She wanted people to be there for her. But she needed to survive. No matter what. So she dropped everyone like that.

The way she lived didn't faze her. She took it as her being strong. And she was challenged since her parents died. She was a survivor. She had the strength no one else had.

And she was pretty damn proud of that.

She was gonna show everyone she wasn't a waste of space. She was one of those people who can take care of themself. She didn't need anyone to remind her of that. She didn't care. Not even when she saw her long time crush in the grill. Jeremy Gilbert.

They were so close before her parents died. He wanted to help her, he wanted to be there for her like she was there for him. Jeremy was important to her. But she just drifted away and there was no way he could get ahold of her.

He was one of those people who would open the door for you, be your shoulder to cry on and let you choose the movie series for a marathon.

She thought she was too screwed in the head for him to notice her. But he did. Oh boy he did.

He saw everything. He watched her every move and he was hurt of how her life turned out. Because he loved her. The old her. The one who was his shoulder to cry on and let you choose the movie series for a marathon.

Now every time he looks at her, all he sees is the girl who's parents were killed by Klaus Mikaelson.
