(Daryl's POV)

It was a semi showdown. Me and Merle had our weapons pointing at the guy, while the guy had his gun aiming at Merle.

"Look I don't want any trouble, I've already seen enough of that, but if you guys can lower your guns I will too." the man said.

The words he said were convincing, hell a lot are nowadays, but you can't take them all for granted. The man wore a 3/4 baseball shirt with white and blue underneath a dark brown overcoat, dark jeans, and a baseball cap hiding his longish hair. His face was full of confidence with a hint of fear in those oriental eyes.

"Alright we don't want any trouble either, so just hand over the gun and spare some gas." Merle compromises.

"Merle!" I bark.

"What?" Merle replies.

"Alright look I will drop my shit, and keep an eye on my stupid brother. You drop yours?" I ask the stranger.

He answers by dropping his gun and I do the same with my crossbow.

"Merle, your turn." I say.

"Hey we can't trust this ass-"

"DROP IT!" I bark.

Merle mutters something, but holsters his gun. Thank God we got enough to worry about.

"Uh look the name's Glenn. I was heading back from Macon and was trying to find my friends in Georgia. That was until you dumbasses showed up and nearly wet my pants." the man said.

"Daryl." I continue "this is Merle".

"So what made you two stop in the middle of the road?" Glenn questions.

"Tank's empty we were just about to.. I dunno." Merle answered.

"I got some spare gas in my car, if you are willing to not kill me the gas is yours." Glenn says.

"Alright, sounds good." I reply.

Glenn walks over to the back of his car and pops the trunk open, pulls out two gas cans and starts walking to us.

"Here's the gas." Glenn said.

I grab the canisters.

"Give it here." Merle insisted.

I hand my brother the gas and he leaves me chatting with Glenn as he fills up the Humvee. Moments later Merle comes back from refilling the Humvee.

"Alright it was nice meeting you Glenn, but us dumbasses." Merle sarcastically says "have to get back on the road".

"Hey, look I know this can be much to ask, but my car is low on gas too so can you offer me a ride?" Glenn requests.

"Hold up." Merle gestures me to come next to our ride.

"So what are we doing?" Merle questions.

"It wouldn't be that much. I mean he did give us gas and could've popped us at any second." I reply.

"Look I think it's best we take our chances with this guy he's practically built like a toothpick and I can take him with ease." I add.

"Alrighty then. Hey Glenn!" Merle barks.

Glenn walks over to us and looks at us with concern.

"Get your shit and hop in." Merle says.

A small smile grows on his face. Glenn runs to his car grabs a backpack and a jug of water returns.

"Thanks Merle." Glenn says with gratitude.

"Don't mention it." Merle replies.

Merle hops in the driver's side, I take shotgun, and Glenn hops in the back with the turret.

"Daryl." Merle speaks with a quiet tone.

Merle then puts the keys in the ignition and he keeps driving.

"I hope you're right about this guy."

(Author's Note)

And the Dixons meet Glenn on the road! Will this mean we will see more characters from the TV Show and more POV's? Not sure yet so find out with the next chapters. It was awesome putting this one together because creating Glenn's lines were on fleek some would say.

Thanks again!
Later dudes!
