Chapter 9 Finishing the job

As Audrey makes her way down the hall she hears glass break, she reaches to her leg pulling her gun out and sneaks into the room. As Audrey makes her way into the room, she sees someone cleaning something. Mark comes in walking in, as quiet as he can as Audrey puts her gun to the persons head.

"Well look who is here." The guy turns around.

"Brad how did you survive?" Audrey backs away slowly.

"Well you little thing, I was fighting them off, and got away thankfully. I saw you plan this out, so I came here where you would be." Brad brings out his gun.

Mark suddenly comes up behind Brad and knocking him out.

Audrey snaps out of it, dragging Brad to a pillar outside and tying him to it.

"Audrey?" Mark grabs her shoulder.

Audrey cuts Brad's arm, then dragging Mark inside and closing the doors, as she watches Brad waking up and zombies walking towards him.

"Enjoy being ripped apart you little weak bitch." Audrey mumbles walking away from the window, chaining the doors closed so nothing can get in.

Mark watches the zombies rip Brad apart, and listening to him scream.

"You are one bad bitch." Mark chuckles.

"Yeah well no one should play with a girls heart or I will have them ripped apart slowly by me or zombies." Audrey says with a serious tone.

"Well I won't ever treat you like that little bitch did. You are too perfect to be treated like nothing." Mark goes to Audrey and hugs her.

Audrey hugs Mark back, as she does so she starts  to tear up.

"Don't cry babe it's okay I promise." Mark hugs her tighter.

Audrey pulls away, taking Mark's hand, leading him to a bedroom.

"We should get some rest for tomorrow, we have a journey ahead of us." Audrey smiles.

Mark and Audrey crawl into bed, as Mark's head hits the pillow, he is out like a light. Audrey looks up at the ceiling thinking about what's going to happen next. Audrey wonders, are they going to make it to where they are heading. The question is with in them, and only they know if they will or not.
