Opposite

New friend (Janey)

It was Janey's second day, and she still hadn't managed to make any new friends.
It was 4pm, just before dinner in the hall. Janey, again, was sat on the windowsill, she had made a habit of sitting on that particular windowsill it had a magnificent view of the castle, you could see for miles too, it was so beautiful, she looked at Eddie her owl, he new how much he wanted to be flying out there.
"Hi"
Janey jumped at the sound of someone talking, and quickly swivelled round to see who.
"Oh, umm, hello" Janey had never seen this girl before, she was twirling a lose bit of hair in her finger. She had long blonde hair in a side braid, beautiful features and  her blue eyes shined like crystals.
"Oh, um I'm Janey..." Janey couldn't help think she was dreaming, so she pinched her arm just to be sure, "ow."
"Oh my, are you ok?" The girl looked at Janey with serious concern in her face.
"Yes, thanks, sorry I didn't catch your name" Janey said holding her arm.
"Oh, yes, sorry. I'm pepper," pepper chuckled. She had a raspy voice, that Janey thought sounded lovley.
"Um, I no we just met but do you wanna sit with me for dinner, i always see you sat on the window, and you look lonley... I mean you can say no if you-"
"I'd love to sit with you!" Janey interrupted, and then blushed at her instant reaction.
"Really? Cool, let's go!" Pepper smiled and held her arm out, Janey took her arm and walked away.
