Emma ~ Chapter 29

Chloe's POV*
It's been a few weeks after the wedding and I'm heavily pregnant, I'm feeling like I'm about to pop. I'm lying on the couch with Joe lying behind me with his hands on my baby bump. After the wedding we had a huge party in a big hall. I couldn't drink because I'm pregnant but that didn't stop me from having the time of my life.

Zoe rang saying that she is going to tell Alfie about the baby today. I told her that everything will be ok but I'm not so sure if it will be.

My stomach is going crazy, I think the baby is having a wee me party. "I'm just going to the bathroom." I said to Joe. He nodded saying ok. I walked into the bathroom and locked the door. I went to the toilet and started washing my hands. As I was washing my hands I felt water hit my feet. At first I thought I had peed but then it clicked that it was time to go to the hospital.

"JOE!! Come quickly my water broke!" I yelled unlocked the door. I shuffled out of the bathroom as he came running down the hall. "Don't panic, everything is going to be ok, the baby's had enough and it just wants out." He said laughing at the end making me giggle. He helped me out of the house and up to the main road where our car was parked. He helped me in and he sped down the road to the nearest hospital.

Once we reached the hospital we ran up to the receptionist and told her what was happening. She called a doctor and he came with a gurney. Him and Joe lifted me onto it and he wheeled me to the hospital room. He called a few more nurses and doctors in. "Do you think your ready to start your contractions?" The nurse asked. I nodded.

(Quite a while later)

Still Chloe's POV*
I'm lying on the hospital bed with my beautiful baby girl. We decided we would call her Emma. I'm very tired and Joe is fast asleep. The nurse came in the room. "Hi Chloe, how are you doing?" She asked. "I'm doing good, just very tired." I said yawning. "Want me to take Emma for you for a while?" She asked smiling. "Would you mind?" I asked. "Not at all." She said opening her arms. I carefully lifted Emma and put her in the nurses arms. "Thank you." I said smiling.

She walked out of the room with Emma and as soon as the door shut my eyes closed. I definitely think the past few months have been the best months of my life. I can't wait to start my life with Joe and Emma.
