Fear ~ Chapter 13

(Warning- Self harm is mentioned in this chapter. It's not much but it is mentioned.)

Joe's POV*
I walked into Chloe's office and I saw that she had her drawing book open. It was a new drawing this time.

A little girl, standing alone. She looked scared. I could see fear in her face. Why was Chloe drawing this stuff. I was beyond confused. Then it clicked, she had drew an eye, the sea and fear.

Eye Sea Fear.

I have to talk to her about this. She's obviously feeling down or depressed about herself. Her and Caspar are back friends so I don't think it's because of that. Hate? Is she getting hate still. I picked up the book.

"Chloe, can you come into the sitting room please?" I shouted as I walked into the sitting room. She ran down the stairs and into the sitting room. "What's up babe?" She asked me.

"Are you feeling okay?" I asked. "Uhm, yes why?" She replied looking confused. "I know there's something wrong Chloe. Don't you think I can see. I can read your emotions like a book." I held up her drawing book. "I can tell your not okay. I see fear, what's that about?" I asked in small voice.

Tears threatened to spill from my eyes. I can't cry not in front of her. It will make her feel worse.

"The other night you were talking in your sleep. You were talking to someone. About me. You said to the person that I was depressed. You said I wasn't the same. That you saw fear. You said 'I see fear'. I didn't know what this meant. I realised that you were right, I was depressed. I started cutting again Joe. I couldn't stop." She rolled up her sleeves showing me freshly cut marks on her arms.

I walked over to her and took her hand. I kissed each and every one of her scars. There was so many. "Follow me." I said to her. I walked into the bathroom and looked for the first aid kit. I found it and got out bandages. I wrapped them around her arm carefully. "Please don't do it again. Get rid of those drawings." I said to her tears slipping down my cheek it hurt me to see her like this. She needed to stop.

Today I sat in my friends sitting room and cried for about 45 minutes over Joe. I wasn't just crying a little I was full on bawling my eyes out😂❤️ I watched a video of him meeting this girl one year younger than me and they were playing bowling and I got super jealous. At the end of the video he goes I love you and I'm looking forward to meeting you a forth time and that made me cry even harder😂❤️ I think I annoyed my friend too much whoops😂❤️
