Chapter 5 - Bryan Mangaiello

As Cube, Kim, Jason, and I went up the elevator to Bryan's office at Priority Records I was nervous about what was going to happen. I knew Cube buried the hatchet with Bryan a few years back when Cube came out with his first solo album but Ruthless still had beef with him. Since Jerry stole money from Ruthless I still believe to this day that Bryan was in on it too. I never thought in a million years that I would be in this office with this red neck fuck.

"Well well well look who decided to show their face in Priority" said Bryan sarcastically as we came into his office

"Hi Bryan long time no see" I said taking a seat and giving him a sarcastic smile

"Hello O'Shea and Kim"

"Wuz up man" said Cube

"Hi" said Kim

"And you must be Jason Mitchell" he said looking at Jason

"Yes I am sir" said Jason smiling

"I seen a few of your movies nice work"

"Thanks I appreciate it"

"So how have you been Mercedes? havn't heard from you since you fired Jerry and called me leaving angry voice mails"

"I been doing well...I see you finally cut off that David Bowe hair you was rockin  ...it's nice seeing how old you really look" I said sarcasticlly

I was trying my best not to be a asshole but looking at his old ass made my stomach turn. The last time I seen him he had this long as hair and thick beard. But now he's gained a few extra pounds and the white dress shirt he had on looked like it was struggling to hold in place. I noticed on the wall there was a gold record framed with each one of Eric's albums in it.

"Hm I see you still have the same attitude as Eric shame to see all that talent getting wasted behind bars...so what is this visit for ?" he said standing up and walking over to his mini bar

"Well I came for a loan"

"A loan..." he said pouring some scotch in a cup "What makes you think I should give you a loan after Jerry and after you threating me?" he said sipping his drink

"Well you and Jerry did steal money from me and I havn't took ya'll to court think of this as a way to pay me back for all the money you stole"

"Look I didn't have anything to do with that...that was all Jerry" he frowned

"But you knew what he was doing and you didn't even bother to tell me or Eric all this money Ruthless invested in Priority and you still wanna act like your shit don't stink"

"Well you don't have to worry about it anymore because Ruthless is not in contract with Priority so ya'll should have more money then you can handle I'm sorry about Eric I really am but he should of thought about the consequences for his actions...I mean that's what he raps about right ? being a thug and shooting up people he did the crime so he's gotta do the time sorry that's just my thoughts on the whole thing I mean I would of helped but after those threats Mercedes I can't get involved"

"You son of a bitch !" I screamed standing up

"Calm down man" said Jason grabbing my arm

"My mother isn't a bitch if anything your acting like one" said Bryan giving me a sarcastic smile

His smile and his sarcasim was making my blood boil. Before I knew it, I snatched my arm away from Jason and grabbed the globe that sat on his desk and threw it at him. He ducked before it hit the wall and smashed into pieces.

"I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I BOTHERED TO COME SEE YOUR SORRY ASS !" I screamed

"GET OUT OR I'LL CALL SECURITY!"

"I will but I'm taking this with me" I said snatching the gold record off the wall

"PUT THAT BACK OR I WIL HAVE YOU ARREST-""

"BITCH IT AIN'T PUTTING BACK ! THIS IS ERIC'S AND IT'S COMING HOME TO RUTHLESS WHERE IT BELONGS !" 

"I'M CALLING SECURITY!" Bryan Screamed

"SHUT UP!" said Jason's punching Bryan in the face

Bryan fell to the floor knocked out as we all left the room. I don't even know why I bothered wasting my time with that Jew. I held back tears because I knew this was a dead run and it's putting me back in the same spot I was and that's scrambling up money to get Eric out that.  I held Eric's gold record tight in my arms as Kim, Cube, and Jason followed me out of the office.
