Chapter 20

"Do you mind sitting down properly?" Mr Hackett said gesturing towards my feet that were placed on my desk

"When I feel like it" I shrugged and he sighed

"Listen you two, I've been getting a lot of complaints about you lately" he said strictly

"Would you mind if I asked who?" Jake said cutting him off which I was thankful for

"I'm not going to name anyone" I rolled my eyes "but you two have been skipping lots of classes together" he said as if we didn't already know

"Wait really? How horrible" I fake gasped and Jake chuckled

"No time for jokes here" he said clearing his throat

"Do you have legitimate proof that we've been skipping classes" I'm starting to have a feeling that Jake would be an alright lawyer

"A student who shall remain unnamed has reported you trying to skip government which is the hour you two have right now" he said as if he had something against us

"Who's the student?" I smirked

"None of your concern" he said as I lowered my feet from his desk

"May I know who the student is please" I asked innocently

"Your friend drew" he gave in knowing he had no way out of this

"What" I yelled standing up Jake doing the same

"He reported you two about to leave school grounds" he repeated as if I didn't hear him the first time

"How did he know if he wasn't skipping class himself" I asked outraged

I felt Jake's hand grasp mine trying to calm me down

"I will deal with Drew later, but I've heard that you have a one week deletion with Fitz"he said in the calmest voice possible

"Okay listen sir we'll go to class, and next time we try ditching we'll try to be more carefully" Jake said his statement making me smile

"Alright go to class I'll see what I'm going to do with you two" he said but before he could say anything else I was out of his office dragging Jake behind me

Jake stopped walking which caused me to immediately stop walking

"Babe calm down" he said cupping my cheek with his hand

"I can't believe him" I said breathing heavily

"Listen to me, just breath" he whispered his face really close to mine

"I can't" I said between breaths

"You need to calm down" he said leading me towards a wall

I sat on the floor my back against it.

At this moment I thought  I was going to die, I couldn't believe drew I thought he was my bestfriend  the person I told things I didn't wanna tell myself, he's helped me through so much then he just turns his back on me like that. It hurts.

Footsteps where coming our way "what's going on over here?" Great just what I needed right now

"I think she's having a panic attack" Jake said trying to figure out how to calm me down
