Chapter 4

Alana POV
After the encounter with James, me and Armani stayed in my room for the rest of the night and talked about the situation. We were mad at Ma but we came to the conclusion that it was ultimately James fault. Mani is more open and talkative than me, I like to just be observant and figure it out in my head first before making a fool out of myself.

"Alana get up" my mother knocked at my door.

"I'm up" I yawned as I got up and went through my closet for something to wear today.

Me and Armani were going to twin it today, so we decided on a black and white button up baseball tee, with a white cami underneath, black ripped up jeans and our Jordan retro 11's that were also black and white.

I got in the shower and washed my hair  so it would be in its natural curly state. After I got out I put on my outfit, and applied some mascara and lipstick. I grabbed my bag and was on my way downstairs.

"Look at my babies twinning, I love when y'all do this."Ma said as she put our plates in front of us.

Mani looked at me and we both rolled our eyes, making sure she knew we were still upset with her.

She sighed before sitting at the table,"I know you girls are still upset and have every right to be, but you know my intentions were good."

"I'm over the situation, the man hasn't been here for 17 years and he doesn't need to be here now, I want no ties to him period, not even his money." I said as I texted Jeremy good morning.

"Speak for yourself, I mean I'll hear him out sooner or later I mean he is rich as hell and I enjoy spending his money."Mani said eating her omelet.

"I just think you all should leave your father alone.." My mother told us as she got up

"Whatever ma, see you later" I kissed her cheek before heading out.

After Me and Mani got to school, we parted ways and I went to Jeremy's locker to look for him.

I went up behind him and covered his eyes with my hands,"No text back huh? Somebody must be busy."I said as I quickly grabbed his phone out of his back pocket. We have each other's password to everything so it was a big surprise to be when I typed in his passcode and it said incorrect.

I raised my eyebrow before handing it back to him,"Unlock this please."
"I got you later baby, I changed my code cause Talia figured it out"he said referring to his little share who was bad as hell.

I kissed him and nodded before handing him my books as he walked me to class.

I went to all my classes and just sat in the back minding my business deep in my own thoughts.

By the time lunch came, I decided to just text my mother and ask for James number, I just couldn't get the situation off my mind.
She texted back a few minutes later with the number, and I texted James letting him know it was me and wondering if we could talk.

Armani sat down at the table without her friends which was weird. She always had a crowd with her.

"So I called James asking could we meet up, I know you didn't want to Lana but--" I cut her off before she could finish

"It's cool, I texted him too. What did you plan with him?"I asked eating my salad

"Meeting up tomorrow at 11 for lunch." She said as my phone singed signaling it was James telling me I can have lunch with him and Jessica.

"Well, I guess I'm going to be there too."
She winked at some boy across the room before directing her attention Back to me,"Good, we can scope him out, where ya boo at though?"

"Girl let me tell you, so i texted him earlier no reply, and I took his phone and it was locked but I usually have all his passwords and vice versa he said it was it sister so I shrugged it off but I could tell something ain't right." I told my sister all in one breath.

"Girl Jeremy bet not think he slick but next time you around him take that phone, make him unlock it right there if he can't he hiding something but don't be insecure about it just wait until you have actual proof."Armani advised me and I nodded taking note of everything she told me, I'll admit my sister gets around but she's no fool when it comes to relationships

I sighed,"Thanks Boo, let me finish this book before next period."

"Alright A, see you after school I'm finna go in the football hallway"she told me before walking away.
My sister is a trip.

Brandon POV
I stood in the football hallway with a few of my other teammates texting Armani. Me and the girl been texting nonstop since yesterday, I'm feeling her. She straightforward and gorgeous. She say she not into relationships but she ain't been in one with me.

I sat on the stairs chilling by myself, looking at the other guys caked with some hoes around the school.
I looked at Jeremy, the star player of the team for now caked up with some thick ass girl but ugly as fuck in the face. He bold and so is she cause she definitely know thats Alana's man.

"What the fuck" I looked behind me to see Armani looking at them

I pulled her on my lap," I didn't even hear you come up ma"

"Real niggas move in silence." She said with a straight face and I busted out laughing

"You gone tell Lana about this or?"I asked her getting serious

"Hell yea, this bitch ass nigga got the balls to be all up on some hoe, when my sister ain't shit but faithful to him." She said going though her purse

"He is foul."I said looking at him who didn't notice we were watching

"I got something for this bitch."Armani said as she got up off me and walked towards them with something behind her back. She crazy as fuck, and sexy as hell. Turn on for me.
