I wake up in the morning and I can't stop thinking about the kiss. It felt so cold and different. I began to get dressed for school and my dad had already left. There was someone on my porch because they rang the bell. I go down stairs and opened the door. it was Justin and he smiled and I smiled. He walked up to me, said good morning and kissed me. does this mean we are dating or what? I offered coffee and he accepted the offer. "so why do you like coffee so much?" I asked. "the flavor, the smell, cures a thirst" Justin answered. The thirst. what thirst? I grabbed my bag and we began walking to school. Justin slowly grabbed my hand and smiled at me. "so are we dating?" I asked openly. "if you are willing to keep up with me" he said smiling.

After school had ended I met up with Justin and invited him to have dinner. I was cutting tomatoes and I cut my finger. I panic because it was burning and Justin left. He told me he had to go and he just left. what the hell? why would be leave? The ring, the liquid in the bottle, he left when I cut my finger, his kisses are cold and different. I decided to google all his reactions and a keyword was....Vampire.

The next day I met up with Justin. I wanted to ask him but I knew he would tell me a lie. "Justin, I need to talk to you" I said slowly. "what is it?" he questioned. "can we go somewhere private?" I asked again. We walked to the skate park and I slowly began to talk. "I know what you are" I continued "I googled everything, the bottle has blood, you drink it and rinse it off with water, coffee helps you not be thirsty for blood and the black ring you wear helps you walk in the day time, without it you would burn into ashes" I said with confidence. Justin stood there speechless and finally broke the ice " you know what I am, why aren't you running?" he questioned. "people think Vampires only want blood from humans but they are wrong, my family and I are trained to drink animal blood, but when i'm with you, I feel like you are my weakness." Justin said almost in tears. "you know what I am, why aren't you afraid" he questioned. "because I know you won't do anything to me" I whispered. Justin got closer to me and he put his hands on my waist. "you don't want to be with me" he kissed my forehead and left. I stood there speechless and chased him. But we ran faster, he ran so fast it looked like he disappeared. I began to cry because I thought he would of been the one.

I saw him in my biology class and we sat together and we had to do a lab again. "i'm not afraid of you Justin" I whispered to him. " I don't want you to get hurt" he whispered back. "i'll be fine" I said "I love you, I want you to be safe and not near me, I'm not safe and you can't be around me" Justin whispered and left.

he was gone again.
