SIX - Toby

I met up with Justin at a nearby coffee shop by the school. I sat down and ordered coffee and waited for Justin. He never showed up and he never called. I knew something was up and maybe he didn't have time to call me. I walked home and finished my homework and took a shower. I was adding shampoo into my hair and rinsing it off and showering. I go back to my bedroom and put a black shirt and black skinny jeans and wore a black beanie. since my hair is naturally straight I just combed it and put on a beanie and I thought that was manageable. I grab my penny board and went straight to the skate park. I saw a gang that stay there basically everyday. But the odd thing was that Justin wasn't in his usual spot. He is always by these stairs listening to music and staring at the stars. but sometimes he does some tricks and compete with the gangs. I go back to my house and I can see through the window my dad's old cop friend. I ran in their and I hugged my dad's friend. "where's Toby?" I asked. Tody has been my bestfriend since I was born. I haven't seen him in forever and he always knows how to cheer me up. "He's in the bathroom" Mr. Black said. Mr. Black is Toby's dad and I always call him Mr.Black no matter what. I know his first name but it's a nick name I always stick up to. I heard the bathroom door clothes and Toby runs down the hallway and runs towards me and hugs me and twirls me around. "I havn't seen you in a damn long time!" Toby yells. I grabbed my second penny board and took Toby to the skate park.

he skated slowly and we chatted. I mentioned about Justin and he began acting a little weird. like he knew where he was. But he changed the subject and told me he was going to live here now and we celebrated with some frozen yogurt. we skated back to my house and Toby spent the night. it was around 2 in the morning and I heard the door close. I look out my window and Toby was leaving somewhere. I decided to follow him because he seems suspicious. I kept my distance and he went into the dessert. I kept following him and he went inside a old trailer. The lights turn on and all I see is the black figures through the curtain. I see two heads. One is Toby I look closely and the other one is Justin's. I would hear screaming of pain and it was killing me. I began running to the trailer and I swung open the door. I see Toby stabbing Justin with a wooden steak and Justin bleeding everywhere. Toby and Justin stood still and I was so confused. Toby lets go of the steak and cleans his hands with a cloth. "Ari, this is not what it seems like" Toby says calmly. I tried to leave the trailer but Toby grabbed me from the legs and dragged me into a chair next to Justin. He tied me up really tight and he blind folded me. and left the trailer. I was crying and Justin was trying to calm me down and he kept trying to get out of the chair. Justin took off his blindfold by rubbing his head against the wall so it can slip off and I was trying to do the same thing. It took me about twenty minutes and I looked at Justin and he kept bleeding. "he left that wooden steak in your stomach?" I asked. "yeah, he wants me to get weaker so he could kill me" Justin replied. "people like Toby shouldn't be messed with, he only wants pure revenge" Justin kept talking. "what did you do?" I asked. "Do you know what Toby is?" Justin asked. I nodded my head slowly signaling no. "he is half vampire and half werewolf. he can do what all vampires can do, suck blood, hypnotize people and he can see, hear and smell twice as a vampire which is the werewolf's instinct. about 200 years ago when I became a vampire I kept getting thirsty for more blood. Toby was already a werewolf at the time and we got into a fight. I tried to kill him for blood but instead he turned into a vampire. Somehow he had some vampire blood inside him, once you die and you have vampire blood in your system you turn in minutes. I thought it was impossible. I left him out in the forrest and killed his entire family. I was new at the vampire thing, you don't have feelings or a heart. you just want blood. I hadn't seem since then but you mentioned my name and he caught me." Justin says. It was quiet and Justin gets out of the chair. "That was easy, Toby needs to get better material that's harder to break" Justin calmy said. He unties the rope and he carries me home. we enter my house through my window and he kisses me good night. I am so confused.
