We only had weeks left together. If my parents were playing their little games (Which I was sure of) then, they would take me away from Edward. Forever. I would find him again someday though. Edward was sitting on the couch reading the news paper when I got a text from Abby.

Seriously? You told them where you were? -Abby

I sighed.

Abby, they said that they only want to meet Edward. -Bella

Yes, but they can lie Bella. -Abby

What do you mean? -Bella

You fell for it didn't you? -Abby

Fell for what? -Bella

No answer. What was Abby hiding from me. I soon got an email from Abby.

Bella,

I can't believe you would just let them take you like that. Have fun without Edward.

P.S. Why would you give them your apartment address.

XOXO,

Abby

I groaned. Abby was being a bitch. I closed my laptop and walked to the bedroom. I knew it had to be a trick, but we couldn't run anymore. We couldn't think of anymore places, they would just end up finding me in the end. I fell onto the bed and my eyes closed.

"Bella?" Edward asked.

That was the last word I heard.

"You should be lucky that she isn't dead Edward." Abby said.

"Sorry." Edward said.

"You're lucky I was in California visiting my parents." Abby told him.

"Do you think she'll wake up?" Edward asked.

"Edward. She's a strong girl. She should be out of the hospital in a few days. But she will eventually wake up. I bet she can hear us right now." Abby replied.

I coughed and I heard Abby giggle and Edward sighed. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes. I closed them quickly because of the very bright light above me. I opened them again and saw Edward and Abby.

"Told you." Abby said.

"You were right." Edward said.

"Why am I in a hospital?" I asked.

"You were very stressed out Bells. All the stress went to your head and it went into panic mode and made you collapse. You've been out for a week in a mini coma." Abby replied.

I groaned and looked at my wrist. Damn needles. Soon, a doctor walked in and I recognized it as Abby's father James. He smiled at me and looked at the chart.

"Glad to see you awake Bella." James said.

"Thanks Mr. Nomad." I said.

"Bella, call me James. I've known you for about six years now." James told me.

I just nodded. I would be in here until the end of the week. My parents would be here in two weeks and we had a lot to discuss still. They got ahold of Abby and told her that they were coming. Abby thinks that they'll take me though. Then an idea hit me.

"I know a way that will stop them if they try taking me." I said.

"What?" Edward asked.

"We fake an engagement and say that I'm pregnant. They'll leave me alone and then, when they actually do leave us alone, I say I had a miscarriage and we run off." I replied.

"I don't have a ring on me or anything Bella. How would that work?" Edward said.

"Easy, your mother wanted me to give this to you. It was your Grandma Elizabeth's engagement ring." Abby said.

Edward grabbed the ring and got on his knee. I don't know if he was faking or being serious.

"Bella, I don't want to pretend to be engaged to you. I really want to be engaged to you. Marry me?" he asked.

"Yes." I replied.

He smiled and slipped the ring on my finger and I looked at it. It was so beautiful. Abby actually had tears in her eyes. I cried too and kissed Edward. I then had more mess injected into me and I fell back to sleep.
