Wow. The first day of school. I have nothing to wear that looks decent. I got up and started looking through my closet. I couldn't find anything except for some regular basic jeans with a pink long sleeve shirt that has a mustard stain on it. Our washer wasn't good at all nor our dryer.

I got in the shower. My house was the only one on this nice street that was looking like it has been here since world war one. Every other house was beautiful very elegant. People had roses and flowers all around their house. And in front of mine was beer bottles from my parents. My mom really didn't want to do it but my dad forces her. She doesn't have a choice. My dads job is our only income.

Once I got out the shower I went into my room.

"Do you want me to pack a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for you?" My mom said walking into my room

"Yes please." I said.

"Hurry up and get dressed." My mom said as she left the room.

I had dried off, had put the last bit of lotion on my body and got freshened up.

"There ya go." My mom said handing me the brown sand which bag. I got my bookbag and walked out the door. I started walking towards my school.

......

I walked right into my first period class late. Everyone was staring at me even the teacher.

"You must be--"

"Abigail." I said cutting the teacher off.

"Yes yes do you have a pass?"

"Its the first day of school why would she need a pass?" A boy said. I didn't know the boy. I seen him a couple times in the hall last year.

"Excuse me Mr.---"

"Jimmy."

"Mr.Jimmy. this is my class."

"And? You sweating the girl and its the first day of school."

"Abigal you may sit next to Samantha in the back."

I really didn't know who Samantha was I just seen a empty seat in the back and I knew It was mine.

I'm in 11 grade. I haven't made not one friend. Maybe because I'm poor. Maybe because I might smell like rotten food or cigarettes and beer. I know that if I wasn't me I wouldn't be friends with a person like me.

I really want to go to prom and all that. I remember when I told my parents that last year my dad slapped me across my face and yelled "DO YOU THINK WE HAVE MONEY FOR THAT? HUH? GET YOUR ASS UP!!" And he walked out the room leaving me there.

That's why now I don't ask for anything.

.…..

The first bell rang and I started walking out the classroom into the loud hallway filled with freshmans trying to find they class to seniors kissing in the hall. I honestly want that. But no one wants me. I feel like I'll be lonely my whole life.

"Aye watch the fuck out." A girl said.
She was so pretty she almost everything.  A iPhone 6s plus. Chanel purse probably filled with money. Some Chanel heels and tight dress that hugged her body and brought out her curves.

"I'm sorry."

"Yea you better be ugly ass."

She is right. I just nodded and kept on walking to my next class. I knew that if I would've hit her people will bully me more than ever. Its bad enough high school is hard but when you have bullying it's even harder.

My whole day has been a drag honestly. I would say I'm ready to go home but its the same there. I wish I can just run away.
